Playoff Predictions for the M

                             For this week's VHL.com article, I'm going to make predictions about how the playoffs this year will turn out. Based on the standings right now, and assuming that four teams from each conference get into the playoffs, here who would realistically get in right now:

 

Western Conference: 

Mexico City Kings

San Diego Marlins

Saskatoon Wild 

Las Vegas Aces

(in that order)

 

Eastern Conference: 

Philadelphia Reapers

Miami Marauders

Halifax 21st

Mississauga Hounds

(also in that order)

 

So, this would set up matchups like so:

 

Kings vs. Aces

Marlins vs. Wild

 

Reapers vs. Hounds

Marauders vs. 21st

 

 

And based on these matchups, and the success of these teams in the regular season, here are my educated predictions for the S75 Founder's Cup Playoffs:

 

 

 

The seedings may be a bit off, because I couldn't reseed the bracket after each round for whatever reason, so we are left with our champions: the Philadelphia Reapers. 

 

Some things I predicted were the upset involving the Miami Marauders and Halifax 21st(sound familiar?), and the eventual dethroning of the regular season champion Kings. In the actual STHS sim, the second round matchups would have been Kings vs. 21st and Reapers vs. Marlins, but I think the results would have been the same so I didn't bother changing it.
