Reapers and Eagles move on

The Philadelphia Reapers along with Tom Eagles are moving onto the next round after they defeated the Yukon Rush in 4 straight. Tom played a vital role in the win as he finished the series with 6 points.

" It's great to get that first series win and I am happy with the way I played. It was slow in the first 2 games as I had no points but over the last 2 games I found my stride and put up 6 " Said Tom " we were expected to win this series and we did but now were going up against a much tougher opponent in San Diego"

It will be an interesting series for Tom as San Diego is the only VHLM team his father, Greg Eagles, played for and was also the team he started his VHLM career as he played 19 games for them in the last season.

 

"It will definitely be fun for me, the Eagles name has a lot of history in San Diego and I also have a few buddies that play there " Said Tom " While that is the case though, I will be giving it all for Philadelphia and hope that we can move on. I know it will be a tough series but I think we have the talent and  depth to take this one in 6 or 7 games"
