Red 499 Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 After a respectable season after there full on rebuild Riga can finally start looking towards the future as the next generation of players are set to enter the league. This Batch of young players mostly acquired from the S75 Draft will join returning players from last season to make one of the younger teams in the league. First line: McLaren-McJake-Rocket Riga's projected first line will feature the return of the dynamic duo of the S74 Miami Marauders. McLaren and McJake will be joined be the newly extended Rocket to create a dangerous triple scoring threat. Second Line: Dolant-DaMoose-Lose Riga's second line could be made up of entirely of newly drafted First Gens. Selected in the 1st 2nd and 3rd rounds, Riga's strong draft will give them stable secondary scoring. Third Line: Kelly-Andreshnikov-McCloud Rounding out there forward group is Riga's third line. Riga's second returning forward will center two other newly drafted first gens which will provide Riga with even more depth scoring. First pair: Rust-Zetterstrom Riga's best two defensemen as of right now are returning S72 defensemen Chance Rust and S75 second rounder Linus Zetterstrom. If no better defensemen join Riga in the offseason expect both Rust and Zetterstrom to anchor the first Pair. Second pair: Thunder- Riga's third defensemen as of right now will be newly promoted Matt Thunder who will likely pair with an offseason acquisition. Starting Goalie: Harvey Backup Goalie: Klamasteris These lineups are only projections based on TPE and are likely inaccurate since this article was made before any off season signings have been made. Nevertheless, these lineups show the youth and potential this Riga team has which will be a team to be reckoned with in the near future.
