Interview With Rookie Trevor Wallace

Today, I got a chance to have a great chat with Trevor Wallace while I was down in Miami.  After calling him last week I decided I should see how he's doing down in Florida and how he was liking Miami.  Quick reminder: an R denotes that I'm talking and a TW denotes Trevors words.

 

R: Trevor, first of all, how are you liking Miami so far?

TW: It's great.  My teammates are amazing, the front office is amazing and I'm really glad that they took a chance on me.

R: Speaking of taking a chance on you, what do you say to those who think that Miami took you too early in the draft.

TW: They're what fuels me, every day during practice I think about proving them wrong.  Honestly, I don't know where I'd be without them.  This season I'm going to grow more because of them.  So I guess I ought to thank them.

R: Do you think that you need to prove anything to yourself?
TW: I think if I work hard, I can become one of the greats, all it takes is work.

R: Thank you for your time Trevor.
