ThePerfectNut 563
The future of the Calgary Wranglers is looking very bright and it has been one season ago that people were putting a question mark on their future because of that Tallinder trade. Because of that Tallinder trade, we got the chance to draft Tom Eagles, who will one day become a top d-men in the league. He is currently a Rookie of the Year favorite from producing better stats than L last year. Tom Eagles will become a very strong two way d-men that can chip in on offence and play big time defence, playing physical and logging in some big minutes each game. He will for sure achieve some big awards in his career. Kosmos Kramerev is a pure offensive d-men. He's skating and pucking handling is on another level and people could say he can become a forward if he really wants to. His defence is still quite good blocking shots when he needs too. He has the chance to become one of the best offensive d-men in the league once RJ Jubis retires. Vsevolod Askarov is already a star goalender by having an undefeated rookie season. His stats are still good right now and he is expected to play a lot of more games this season. There are some rumours of Jacque Lafontaine retiring this season so he will take on the torch for Calgary and hopefully lead us to a Cup one day. Luke Thornton, Riley Couture, Jonas Stormsson is expected to be THE line for the future. They are all very skilled players on a line that can defend and score. This line can either become one of the best line in the VHL or bust into becoming a dissapointing line. Thornton is a very two way forward that can do anything on the ice, Stormsson is a very good scorer when he is in the zone while Couture is a very good center that can play very good on defence for that line. Can't forget about Sheldon Juniper and Liam Fischl. They will get the chance to play first line one day and prove themselves, but they are very good second line players that any team would like on their team and we are very glad to have them back us up.
