Druss Deathwalker tries to strike fear into the hearts of his opponents every time he steps on the ice for the Mississauga Hounds who drafted him 15th overall in the S76 Dispersal Draft. The hulking highlander, who last played in Scotland, left an impression on the Miami Marauders in his first game of the season as he led all skaters with 10 hits! While he hasn’t reached that single-game mark again, crunching the opposition is a big part of Deathwalker’s game as he currently leads all Hound forwards and is second on the team with 89 hits in 24 games, good for 11th in the VHLM. He’s not a one-trick Shetland pony though as he is also fifth on the Hounds with six goals to go along with 10 assists for 16 points. Deathwalker is also tied for the league lead with two shootout goals on only three attempts. Mississauga is hanging on to the eighth and final playoff spot and the man who calls himself “Legend” is hoping he can scare a few more wins the Hounds’ way to solidify their spot in the post-season.
