I needed to move up in the 1st round and with the depth the Wild have from last season's trades, obtaining the remaining pieces early enough is essential in the rebuild. The player(s) I want won't be available probably at 10th overall, so I move up in this draft, but relinquish a 1st next season, but I also have Bern's 1st in S40, so it's what I needed to do in order to get this. Adding another 3rd rounder, well, what can I say, I love 3rd round picks. Thank you AwfulHomesick for the easy and quick negotiations. He has been an absolute pleasure to deal with whenever I contact him.
