  1. Yeah you wouldn't have made it halfway up the path to my house.
  2. Sup.
  3. Scaring the crap out of people.
  4. For the record: Kypreos, Dreger, and Spector aren't great sources for unbiased views on the Canucks. Dreger has hated them ever since Nonis got shitcanned, and Kypreos/Spector are fucking incompetent. Spector constantly shits on the team too. Not saying he shouldn't get a game or two, just not exactly unbiased opinions there.
  5. Then ignore me. You ranting about Emelin diving was just... no.
  6. Gallagher made zero attempt to avoid it.
  7. Oh. Well. Yeah go ahead and call him out, he was being a fucking idiot earlier.
  8. Kesler isn't even a Canuck anymore, how is he relevant?
  9. I just remembered that Subban's ground and pound on Daniel Sedin got ignored too. Yeah. Refs fucking sucked tonight. Don't act innocent, Habs fans.
  10. Wasn't really directed at you, just the overly salty Habs fans here and on Reddit. Fucking tired of it. EDIT: Shit like this is embarrassing.
  11. It didn't say it wasn't a bad hit. Emelin was off balance and stumbled, creating a bad situation that resulted in a headshot. It was late either way, Burrows should have let up. I don't think it's suspendable (the NHL seems to not give a shit if the guy isn't injured either) but should have been penalized.
  12. Fuck off with that. The officiating was garbage both ways. There were a couple of shit calls on Dorsett and Edler earlier in the game. Emelin was off balance and it created a bad situation. The first Habs goal shouldn't have counted in any universe. Both teams got a shit goal, both got a good one. 1-1 going into OT and the Canucks won fair and square. Gilbert's interference penalty was beyond blatant. Bieksa got away with one, we've already established the refs suck. The goal definitely wasn't seconds after Bieksa and Plekanec collided either. You guys can shit on Burrows all you want. Claim he's dirty. He's never been suspended in his career. He is not a dirty player.
  13. It's exactly a bunch of "gamers" being losers. 4chan and various other internet hellholes claimed it was about getting rid of corruption in games journalism to sucker a bunch of people into following them. In reality it's just them harassing women in the games industry. Personally I don't give a fuck, I hate what they're doing but I just try not to give them any attention. I'm more interested in, y'know, playing the damn games.
  14. Here's the whole Phase 3 announcement event. I keep watching the Avengers: Infinity War teaser, my body can't handle it. It's too much. Those last few seconds where it's like. "AVENGERS. INFINITY WAR. PART I, MAY 2018. PART II, MAY 2019." combined with the music and... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
  15. I got a job at Target. Had orientation today. Seems chill. Plus money in the bank. Alright alright alright.
  16. It's okay to have an opinion, but you've made it pretty clear you're making baseless assumptions without even watching the movies. Name another superhero movie that was also a political spy thriller? I'm not aware of any. Guardians of the Galaxy is completely different from anything else Marvel has put out. The Dark Knight is generally regarded as one of the best movies of the last 15 years, it's part of the reason the Academy expanded the number of Best Picture nominations to 10. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, just like I'm entitled to tell them to shut up when they clearly don't have much of a clue what they're talking about. It's called Age of Ultron, by the way. Pretty significant difference.
  17. Uh. You see Captain America: The Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy? If not, please shut up and show yourself out.
  18. Civil War is going to be really interesting because the only thing that looks like it's carrying over is that it's Cap vs. Tony and it's got the same name. Otherwise, I think they're doing something entirely new. We know Black Panther is going to be in it, and I think the Winter Soldier is going to play a major role since it's heavily implied (if not outright stated) that Bucky killed Tony's parents. I get your point about the Marvel header, but I think many people are starting to look at that more as a seal of quality. They see Marvel, they know they are getting a good movie. Everything they've put out has been pretty good except maybe Incredible Hulk and Thor. X-Men is off at Fox, and I agree that they seem to have a handle on it. But Sony hasn't got a clue what it's doing with Spiderman, and DC is just now trying to establish their characters. They have some really good TV shows going right now and only Arrow and Flash are connected, though they aren't going to have anything to do with the movies. They're in serious catch-up mode right now and I wonder if it's too little, too late. People over on /r/marvelstudios are throwing around the name Katheryn Winnick for Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel. I'm not really familiar with her work, but of the stuff I watched of her on Vikings today I think she might be a solid option. I hope it's not Katee Sackhoff like half these people have hard-ons for because she's a terrible actress. Cumberbatch would be interesting for Doctor Strange, at least on a pure looks basis I think Ewan McGregor would be better. So many people have been rumoured for that role now that I don't even bother speculating.
  19. The problem will be if people continue to lump everything together as a "superhero" movie. What's starting to happen is while all these movies feature heroes, they're all going into different genres. CA: The First Avenger was a very comic book-y war movie, but The Winter Soldier was a full-on political spy thriller. Guardians of the Galaxy was a sci-fi epic. As long as the keep the quality of the movies up and keep a variety of genres, the movies will continue to do well. I think Avengers will still be the massive event films that bring the characters together, but the roster will change up considerably. Marvel is making moves to try and get Fantastic Four back and is still rumoured to be working on a deal with Sony for Spider-Man. If they get those guys in time for Phase 4, they can totally allow Iron Man, Captain America, etc. to take a bit of a back seat to Spidey, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, etc. I'm sure they have plans beyond Infinity War, but they're definitely going to keep those quiet until they see how these movies do. Beyond that, I'm more concerned about DC/Warner and Sony flooding the market with mediocre films. P.S. I'm predicting that Iron Man takes off at the end of Civil War. Maybe flies off into space and runs into the Guardians? He almost had a cameo in GOTG. They're already showing the rift grow between the two in Age of Ultron.
  20. It's disappointing but he wanted the movie to basically be a standalone. Now Ant-Man is the final Phase 2 movie and might be an epilogue of sorts to Age of Ultron. I suspect we'll some of Hank Pym's role in the initial creation of Ultron.
  21. The Marvel event today. They also showed off a clip from Age of Ultron.
  22. PEOPLE GONN' DIE.
  23. And Iron Fist and Luke Cage are already getting Netflix series.
