    So got a little bored last night and pulled down my boxed up 'Gears of War' edition X360 an spent the next hour setting up it and a CAP version of me..Cooper Supernaw for EA NHL14..(it's what I had on hand ...not running out an buying a brand new system just for this. Besides I got practice tomorrow and GM Hodgson says I'm starting the rest of the way.)

    Here's the BUILD...

    (Used them for a few years they're still with me in storage.)

    (Set I'm currently breaking in.)

    The BOLD...That was an outrageous performance...bot or not..that's effort. :applaud::o

    So glad I didn't end up on Yukon .....

    **Note: Not sure if this is eligible for grading yet . I wanted to post it for fear it would get lost or deleted..I'm good at that kinda thing.:P I'll happily wait knowing it's here.**

    The camera shows color commentator Barney Planet struggling to climb up into a raised chair. He tries and fails, and tries and he fails again and the chair is wheeled away and a step stool is brought in by a technician. Barney steps up on it ,looks into the camera and laughing gives a thumbs up sign.

    "Welcome back to Saskatoon WILD hockey. With the score 1-1 here between Oslo and the WILD .

    During this first intermission, we'll update the other games on tonight's VHLM Schedule and breakdown the 1st period stats. But, first here's Barney with a TALL interview "

    B:"So you may have seen the newest WILD TV commercial.."A Few Words From A Saskatoon Rookie". ..

    {{Screen cuts to the end of the commercial where the goalie masked face fills screen. And then back to Barney.}}

    B:"...You may be wondering who's this goalie and how did the WILD get him?..Well here he is ..this is Cooper Supernaw "

    {{camera zooms out to a two shot to include diminutive Barney standing on a stool next to Cooper. }}

    Cooper's 6' 5" frame and dressed in his WILD uniform and goalie gear (as he's the backup for tonight's game) makes the size difference comical. Cooper stares over Barney like he doesn't see him and Barney plays it up for the camera acting like he's straining to measure up to the height of the young goalie. The two start laughing and then Barney starts again still chuckling.

    B:" Ok..ahhh , so WILD fans should know your an American. And you were playing in the USHL at Indiana last season?"

    "Yes,"

    B:"And at the end of the season the team folded because of arena troubles?"

    " Not exactly..they ceased operations and are officially a dormant franchise..But, yes WE were told it was due to arena lease issues."

    B:"So the team 'suspends' operations and you're outta hockey. Did you try another league ?..I mean where you been?.. It's like you just appeared out of nowhere this week."

    " YES, it's been a very hectic week and to give you the details would really take probably longer than this intermission. Let's just say I made a miscalculation and the KHL was an expensive one . I signed, went over there and was immediately disillusioned and it cost me the college tuition my parents had set aside to buy me outta there....."

    Cooper takes a drink from a Powerade and shakes his head as if trying to clear the bad memories.

    "..I made a phone call to an ex coach who made a phone call to the Assistant to GM Brody Hodgson and then Mr. Hodgson called and invited me up here to try out for the team. So, I've been here a little more than a week."

    B:" And what a week 4-0-1 in 5 games and a TV commercial?"

    " Yeah...that was amazing ..there are supposed to be a few more spots like that one coming up ...a Defenseman ...a Forward...I got the goalie spot cause the other goalie, G1 he apparently doesn't speak English ...and according to the producer I have a decent speaking voice."

    Cooper shows that winning smile and chuckles.

    B:" Well that you do ...But, I gotta say Cooper you're to damn tall for this job ..hahaha, Seriously, you're TOO TALL.."

    Barney fakes a tough guy chin out look to try an intimidate Cooper .. He jumps down from the stool and tries to chest bump the young goalie but bumps into his leg pads instead and then climbs up on his stool and then goes back to his next question.

    B:"So GM Brody Hodgson flys you up here for a tryout and you wind up the starter in a week?!... That's an amazing week. Have you had any time to see Saskatoon or have you even met any of your teammates?"

    "I've met my teammates and I've had meals with some of the guys ..But seriously I have not even unpacked. The 'WILD' got me a long term rental at a Residence inn near the SaskTel Centre and I pretty much just concentrate on playing hockey and sleep. I really don't want or need any major interruptions that might stop the run I'm on here at this moment with this team. It's really that I am living my dream and I'm just afraid I will wake up and it will be gone. So if I need to put things off like unpacking and grocery shopping so be it...I'm here to give this my best effort and see if I can really make a go of it"

    {{Camera zooms in on Barney who turns to face it .}}

    B:" Well, I think you're doing just fine here Coop and I think WILD fans will realize soon enough that Cooper Supernaw could be a major piece to a championship run. So, I'm pretty sure you can unpack.Randy and I will be back with first period highlights and more after these commercial announcements ..This is Saskatoon WILD Hockey on WILD TV."

    With that the bright TV lights dim and Barney steps down from the stool he's been standing on and shakes Coopers hand and taps him on the pads and says...

    " Damn kid, if you were any taller I'd have needed oxygen. I was getting altitude sickness..hahaahahaa, Best of luck Cooper, I'm sure we'll do another one of these before this season is done."
