Keith sampson looks to make name for himself in the vhl, he certainly made a name for himself in other leagues he play in. Last season Sampson played in the whl with the Regina Pats, Putting up 57 points in 68 games which is incredibly as it speaks. just turning 19, Sampson would be playing in the vhlm this season but doesn't know where he's going to be playing. Let's take look at sampson's pros on the ice, and cons on the ice.
Pros:
Defense:
Defense is Key when playing hockey, to not get the puck in your net. Sampson Brings everything to the table when it comes to his defensive skills. Great Shot Blocking, Great stick checking Sampson is a key player for the PK. Probably Sampson's best stat from all the Pros.
Passing:
Passing is Really Important for a defensemen, you need to be able to pass to score. As a Dman Sampson is very good at passing.He looks to create good plays and assists a lot of goals. He probably not going to score many goals but will put a lot of assists for a defensemen
Cons:
Scoring:
If you need someone to rely on getting goals, just don't ask sampson. Not Known for his shooting, his still has a pretty bad shot right now, but could be get better in the future.
Checking:
Sampson is not known for his checking, as his defensive skills makes up for his checking that even with no physical stats, you can still be a defemsemen. His checking however could improve in the future making him dominated dman in future.
