According to Vasteras IK J20’s Twitter account, the team has released a preview to their new franchise. “We do not want to reveal too much, but http://i.imgur.com/7NKfaIv.png.” Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, the release shows nothing resembling Vasteras. Instead, we have been given the confirmation that indeed the Vasteras franchise is on the move. It was rumored that the location would be in Russia and specifically in Moscow, however a possible mascot was not released. As a result of this revelation, we can assume that the new Russian team will be called the Moscow Red Wolves. Has an interesting ring to it. We cannot wait to hear the true official moving of the Vasteras IK J20 to Moscow!

We have more news on a possible franchise relocation that involves Russia. Vasteras GM Bruce Wayne was spotted visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladislav Tretiak, the president of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia. Russia, who has just finished hosting the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, had a very disappointing Olympics in ice hockey. In hopes of improving Russian hockey, Putin and Tretiak are hoping to bring the VHLM or VHL to Russia. Though the VHL rejected Russia’s bid for a team, the VHLM might be willing to capitalize on the venture. “Hockey is very popular in Russia,” said VHLM GM Bruce Wayne, “I met with President Putin and Mr. Tretiak to discuss a possible franchise move to Russia.” The leading candidate for a possible relocation is the Vasteras IK J20, so it is quite fitting/interesting for Mr. Wayne to meet with Putin and Tretiak. “There is a lot of business that could be gained from moving a team to Russia,” said Tretiak, “definitely more business than Vasteras IK J20 is currently getting as a result of an overcrowding in Vasteras.” Though hockey is a sport that also emphasizes tradition, hockey is still a business and as a result it could see one of the most storied franchises in Vasteras to move.

The site is under construction.. I hit a "bump in the road" in terms of its construction, but a friend of mine is working with me to help get the site going. Target: anyone interested in reading/discussing about sports and possibly playing sport simulators. Content: Articles of varying length because some events in a particular sport you can only write so much about. Discussion boards. Fulfillment: Content will be from the sports world. We will probably know of something when another site reports it, however we will write our own article about it.. Writers will be recruited and payment is not defined yet. Maybe if we generate enough interest and get advertisements and such we can worry about money, but as of now it is simply going to work off everyone's interest in getting this to work.

All I am going to say is that Season 37 is not the season Vasteras is going to make a major push to win, so I would prefer to give Jackson a chance of winning and help Vasteras improve for Season 38.” All right, now what about the rumor of the possible relocation of the team? “That rumor is accurate as there are discussions of Vasteras moving.” Why and where? “Why is Vasteras moving? Well we feel that we are casted in the shadow of the Vasteras Iron Eagles who are from the VHL and they drawl all the attention. We do not want to be the second team here in Vasteras, as the market does not seem to support both teams. So where are we possibly going? Sydney, Australia was a place I wanted to relocate the team, but the board of directors scratched that from the list of viable places to move this franchise. The relocation of the team must still be in Europe, so maybe England, Russia, Italy, or Spain. I am not 100% where we will end up, but fans should definitely expect a franchise move coming up.” So though you are a VHLM GM, your first job was being the agent of rising star Konstantin Azhishchenkov. How will you becoming a GM affect his growth, and is Vasteras looking to acquire him? “My managing duties should have little to no affect on him because I am his agent first and GM second. I personally will be quite busy and will have a lot on my plate, but KJA should not feel it. And I have no current or future plans of acquiring him. The feeling is mutual between us because we both think it does not help the team or his personal growth for both him and I to work for the same team. Also, there is a 99% chance that KJA is taken with the second overall pick, the Turku Outlaws, in the VHLM Dispersal Draft.” Well that’s all the time we have Mr. Wayne.
