Ottawa is kicking ass lately. It's always good to see a team play well like Ottawa is doing right now.

Good game Halifax. Julius always plays better when he worries about assists rather than goals.

It looks like when Julius scores he doesn't do much else.

Wow 1 goal by Julius Freeman and he is looking like he's in a slump.

He doesn't always show up but when he does its either huge or in the clutch.

Wow always fun to see a player go 100% on shooting good on Callum MacElroy who also deserves that first star.

Close game that could have gone either way. Good to see that Philadelphia is getting more shots on net but Ottawa stood tall in this one.

Now that is a first period to look at. I feel for the goalie but I wonder why it took 6 goals before being pulled.

Minnesota stop doing things like this. I liked it when the narrative was you still had chemistry to work on. Now that you are stringing together games it's not as fun for other teams. Take one for the VHLM and go back to not being good.

Good shutout for Chase to keep all 20 shots out of the net.Dimitri Volosenkov and Teagan Glover both had great games with 1 goal and 1 assist each. The first goal of the game was even on the penalty kill. Great team defensive game by Halifax all around.

Welcome back to the hat trick club Hunter Wagner with his third hat trick this season. All of which came in the first period of this game. Yukon as a team had a great first period capitalizing on 3 power play goals in the first alone. They played a more defensive game the rest of the game and really didn't need to much more since they only allowed Yukon to score one goal per period.

Minnesota with a late game serge against Houston. Houston needs to get more shots on goal in order to get a better chance on scoring. There were almost more shots that missed the net at 27 vs the 31 shots that both teams shot on net. Kari Jurri gets the first star with two goals in the loss.

Philadelphia with another strong win. Saskatoon Wild took way too many penalties this game. Even though Philadelphia only got one power-play goal Saskatoon should not be taking 13 penalties. I liked how Philadelphia had their goal scores spread out it shows that they are growing as a team rather than just a top line.

Great overtime win by Saskatoon with Rusty Shackleford getting a hattrick on 4 shots in the win. Lots of shots by both teams, so good on both Goalies for keeping it tight. Huston needs to stay out of the box.

Good win by Philadelphia. Philadelphia is only the third team to win against Halifax this season, and they did it in a nice way that took Halifax's top line out of the picture. Julius Freeman was rendered useless by a great game plan. Halifax needs to look into their power play since they only took one goal out of the seven given to them.

Jack Lynch with another outstanding performance even in the loss. Don Draper is another Ottawa player who is stringing together a good group of games. I think the tipping point is special teams. Minnesota scored 3 power play goals out of 8. Ottawa needs to stay out of the box.
