You have to be careful putting that stuff into the world. Minnesota is a great team and I think if it weren't for chase this game would have been very different. Good game Minnesota, I love playing against you guys b/c to me your roster is scary and its a good chance to put our team to the test.

This is the tough thing when I see Ottawa play. When Jack Lynch is on they win but if he doesn't carry the team it's hard to see them win in a game. Reminds me of Conner Mcdavid and how if he is explosive in a night Edmonton wins but if he only gets 1 point they probably lost.

Yukon has some of the best players who will be in the season 66 draft but I think they will be stuck in the middle of the pack until they get another top player or two when you have Minnesota with 4 players maxed already. Good to see Minnesota get more points out of their depth players. Good on Bert Meyers for making the most of his 13 mins of ice time.
-
Great performance by Owen Way with a Shutout win. Great defensive effort for Houston who helped Owen get his second shutout of the season. Good to see him succeed.
-
Halifax is starting to warm up. Anton Edvin with the hattrick in the win. Good win.
-
The answer is three but it's not hard to image when you only get 17 shots in the game.
-
Great all around game for Halifax. Connected on the power play. Good solid goaltending, Julius is finally doing something.
-
Pretty even game by both games. Both got their chances on the power play and pretty even shot chances. I think the difference that Saskatoon has a more balanced first and second line whereas Ottawa is a little more top heavy. Good win for Saskatoon though.
-
That is a rough loss for Yukon 50% on the power play. Arnor Sigurdsson gets 2 goals and 2 assists and 1st star. I guess the real difference is that Houston has a slightly more experienced goalie.
-
Good strong win by Philadelphia against a strong Minnesota team. Mikko Aaltonen can be a great scorer especially if he keeps on putting TPE into scoring.
-
Another game, Another win against any team other than Vegas.
-
Wow 5 goals for Shawnomir Jagr. take away everyone else's goals and Saskatoon still wins.
-
Ottawa trying to crawl out of the bottom of the standings. Good win for them. I think if they focus on shutting down the top lines of the other teams near the bottom they can maybe start making progress in the standings.
-
Good upset for Philadelphia. I bet it felt good to take a win off of Vegas. I guess the difference was in the special team, one to many penalties on the part of vegas. A good win for Philly though. A good well-rounded team.

I mean it's crazy to say that but it is working out to be the case so far. I think in the post-season when our players are near max and your team is also maxed will be the test. But on paper, I am sure confused when I see Halifax beating Minnesota. I'm not upset with it just perplexed.

Good bounce back game for Houston after a tough loss against Minnesota. Kari Jurri is a scary sniper already with room to grow this reason. I do think Yukon is a good team. Trade or two at the deadline can allow them to go far in the off-season.

I have said it before and Ill say it again. Minnesota has one of the best lines in the vhlm. That line with the great defensemen in Wolfe makes for a scary team to go up against.

Aleksander Rodriguez Rookie Profile [1/2]
rjfryman replied to ThePerfectNut's topic in Archived Career Tasks
Review: Enjoyed the fact that you had a short overall description of Aleksander and a playing style section to really put me into the role of someone looking for a player to fit my team. The description is a short and strong precursor to what you explain later on in further detail but I really enjoyed the playing style because it allows me to think of how he would fit in a system. I understand the Metal downside of this kind of player. someone who has great IQ and passing but when in droughts can struggle really makes him a real person rather than a glorified wish fulfillment. -
Review: I actually really appreciate the fact that instead of using the common attributes everyone else, you use the strengths in terms of playing schemes and also non-common nomenclature. I think there is an error you might want to edit: In the second point you say But I think you just want Net-Front Presence or even a different overarching term if that's what you were going for.

Review: A very good intro that sets the stage for everything else I read. Little confused about the mixing of bold and not bold. Not sure if that is an error in transferring the information or a deliberate choice. I also liked how you go above on the strengths and add a fourth item to show that he is a well-rounded defender at all levels of his game.

Review: Really enjoyed the beginning and closing thoughts when it comes to a rookie profile. You let other people give life to this through quotes and a smooth outro. Enjoyed the fact you gave gifs in his strengths and was brutally honest with his weaknesses. The ability to interview quotes and just overview of skills makes this one of the better ones I have read today. Thanks for that.

Review: Would have enjoyed a small snippet before the strengths and weaknesses to set the mood as to what to expect. I did enjoy some of the backgrounds you were able to put into this with tidbits about his coaches and even his mother that gives life to Bert. All in all strong Rookie whom I look forward to seeing grow in the league.

Emil Passerelli Rookie Profile [1/2]

Review: I enjoyed seeing stats in his intro to see what kind of player he is with just numbers, and when I kept on reading I enjoyed how everything was consistent with his stats and abilities. Enjoyed the use of the picture to set the mood and correlate with his college playing day. -
Review: Great logo. I enjoyed how quik and concise you were at every point that you made. I think you might get more eyes on this if you tag some of the players you talk about, maybe not in the actual article because I think that might clutter it but at the end when you mention the sponsors. All in all, I'm excited to see what is next for the ECN.

Review: I have been looking at a lot of teams to try and get information to see good lines and teams and I have to say the line of you Kari and Viktor is a great line that is also super great at getting points. I think by the end of the season this could one of the best lines in the vhlm. Good way to see your teammates but also realize that your teammates benefit from you just as much as you them.
