Yukon with a good win against Las Vegas. Triple H with a great game, he had 3 assists and should have been the first star. Clayton Park with 29 saves on 31 keeps Yukon in the game with a great performance. Great performance by Yukon.

I have been enjoying the league and the league itself has been really fun so far. No suggestions for the league there are some things I am thinking about doing to try and make other peoples time more fun but for now, the league is doing great. You two are doing awesome its good to have good leaders who will help and just be cool people to new people. I would have to say Saskatoon. It is a clean logo first and foremost that is advanced but not too busy. it being wild and a fierce animal makes sense. ITs a good team combo. This one is tougher since there are more logos that are good but I would have to say the Helsinki Titans. The logo is clean matches the name of the team and Helsinki is as good of a place for Titans as anywhere else. I'm going to go with Seatle because hopefully they go far and the players I picked on that team do good things for my fantasy league. I think we will start doing better soon when all our players continue to grow like they want to. We will have a number of guys who will go high in the draft next season and I think it will show in the playoffs.

Close game between both clubs tonight but the clear difference in this meeting was Yukons' goalie Clayton Park. Saving 32 of 35 and keeping them in it despite Houstons late-game surge. The three early allowed Yukon to play the trap and let Houston try and force things in this game. Yukon capitalized early on the power play and had the Houston on the ropes for 50 minutes of the game. The last 10 Yukon bent but did not break in the victory to start hopefully a new winning streak. We will see if they can make it two against Las Vegas next.

Teagan Glover with three goals and the first star in another great performance that Halifax needs to keep in order to stay on top of the VHLM. Julius Freeman with three assists helping on every single one of Teagan Glover's goals. Saskatoon needs to stay out of the box since two of seven Saskatoons penalties lead to a Halifax goal. Even though Juan Jaundice lost you have to give it to him for keeping his team anywhere near a close game. 42 shots by Halifax is a great team accomplishment that I bet the GM is happy about.

Interesting game to watch a not great performance by either team. Both teams combined for 32 shots on goal. This is of itself could be a nice defensive game but when you look at the numbers that are not what you see. Yes, both teams blocked some shots 5 each for a total of 10 more shots that could have been on goal but when you look at next two stats you see something more worrying for both teams. 3 shots hit the post, not a bad thing they are getting close but doesn't count on a shot on goal. The next is where you realize why this game was difficult to watch. 21 shots missed the net entirely. Both teams need to remember that if it's not on the net there is not a chance of getting a goal. 21 shots missing the net in a low shot game. I have to give it to both goalies for staying strong and only allowing 1 between the two but this is a problem that both teams need to look into the coming games.

Very close game between Ottawa and Minnesota. Minnesota comes out with the win by a late-game surge in scoring. You can say Ottawa peaked too early or Minnesota did well modifying their gameplan near the end of the game. Here is something both teams need to work on. Ottawa took seven penalties and even though they only allowed one goal in those seven that is way too many penalties to be taking in a game. Denver needs to work on their chemistry. Denver Wolfe is an amazing player and is the key to this team right now but they have too many talented players to only score three. Minnesota needs to change their lines or try something new, yes they won but they should win against Ottawa, they should win against almost every team but they are not.

No love for Julius Freeman.

While it is an honor to be on the list at all, I do not want this to get to my head. If anything I want this to push me further. At the end of the day, I don't know if I will be at the top of the draft when you look at some of the people who are already near the top. Triple H is one of the best players in this coming draft and he is using his experience to his advantage. He is the benchmark I am going up against whether I am a new player or not. Currently, I sit at 8 overall but the problem now lies with the steady growth rather than the explosive start. I looked through every piece of literature I could get my hands on in order to get better and created charts and graphs to see which is the most efficient way I can grow but now I stand in the middle of the road where all I can do is push forward and consistently grow with what I am given. The only things at this point that can help with large pushes are things that are not in my control. I can see if I can find anyone who is interested in joining, I can continue to push and be a part of the community to get more lottery. I can wish upon a star that my fantasy team does well and my predictions come true. The only way for me to gain on some of my co-draftees is either they slow down or I get lucky in some of the things out of my control but I will say one thing. I am not slowing down. Words - 289

Ottawa is stringing together some good games against good opponents. Most impressive is that their depth is actually playing for them right now. As much as I am on the Jack Lynch Train it is good to see his team score and get the job done to help him out. He will need his team if they decide to make an earnest push toward the cup.

Another great win for Halifax. Julius Freeman is in form again with two assists to his teammates this game. Basaraba Moose with the first star today with a goal and assist.
-
Another great game for Mikko Aaltonen with two goals. This guy will be a great sniper for years to come, already scoring at this level. Saskatoon did a great job on the power play but really needs to work on its five on five.

Las Vegas showing why they are one of the best teams in the VHLM. Minnesota needs to figure out their locker room issues before their season goes to far. Congrats to Rocky LaGarza with the hattrick. Also good that David Harrison and Mitch Matthews were able to help Rocky on each of the goals. Great line there.

Another great game by Halifax to keep atop the VHLM standings. Julius Freeman with another assist. Teagan Glover with 3 points and the first star. Chase with another great performance.

Tough loss for Philadelphia they had the right idea in shutting down Jack Lynch but when you take 7 penalties that will suck the life out of a bench. Strong game by Don Draper with 1 goal and 1 assist. Would be nice to see Philadelphia win more of these close games but they need to work on discipline.
-
Strong games by Shawnomir Jagr and Raphael Nazarians of Saskatoon but they cannot be the only ones who show up for Saskatoon. Houstons depth is what won this game since they had multiple lines that went out there and scored.
-
At a certain point you start to feel for Hunter Hearst Helmsley, he pushes his team as far as he can but he cannot do it alone. He got two goals and 1 primary assist in the loss. Yukon needs to strengthen its depth to help the top line from having to do everything.
-
Nice shout out win by Divaani Sohva who saved 22 shots in this game. Minnesota's defense helped him a bunch by taking away prime scoring chances and keeping Divaani safe. Another great game by Denver Wolfe with a goal and an assist in the game being apart of every goal that Minnesota had. Will say a strong showing by Ottawa for keeping Minnesota to only two goals.
-
Tight game by both teams with Saskatoon taking the win. I think with a difference comes with Raphael Nazarians who was a part of every goal that Saskatoon had with either scoring it or giving an assist. Both teams played a tight defensive gameplan but when its that close players like Raphael are difference makers.
-
Yukon with a strong win against Las Vegas I think the big difference was Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Titus Stone the two had a total of 6 points between the two. Both were involved in two goals together and 1 goal each where they helped overtake Las Vegas.
-
Good win by Houston breaking the winning streak of Halifax. Halifax had a 5 game winning streak. I think the main thing that hurt Halifax out was their top players not showing up in this game. I think the big take away in taking on Halifax is to work hard against their top line and make sure they are not effective.
-
Minnesota with another strong win and a great team effort. Only one player for Minnesota was not on the ice when a goal was scored. Whereas Saskatoon did not have a single player have a positive plus-minus, not their fault when you go up the strongest team on paper with Minnesota. Impressive to have Denver Wolfe with 4 assists in the win.
-
Another close game between these two strong teams. It has been interesting to watch these team go back and forth. Hunter Hearst Helmsley with another great game even in a loss. I think one of the big differences is that Yukon had 77 minutes from computer generated player whereas Houston only had 6 minutes from their computer-generated players. Not sure what Yukon needs to do in order to fix this situation, but three of the computer generated players were on the ice when Houston scored.

Las Vegas doing well with 2 power-play goals on two chances. Would have been nice to see an over-time with these two teams. Philadelphia needs to work on their penalty kill, and just get more shots on net. They had only 13 shots in the entire game. Las Vegas had a great defense but 13 total shots are not enough to play against a tough team like Vegas.

Julius with the First Star Hat-trick good win. Good on Halifax for getting three power-play goals. Good on Chase for getting 20 saves on 21 shots.
