1. As cup champions I was never worried having to sim another game 5, I knew we'd win because we are the best! But yeah we shouldn't have had to. 2. Everyone played great I could choose anyone but will go with Riley Martin, he scored he most points in the playoffs and reg season 3. All great players who will be greatly missed. I played with Liv Slater my entire career so I'd have to say will miss them the most, a good friend of mine on and off the ice. Wheeler was solid too, good player and always a good sport in the room. Syko was clutch from the moment he arrived. Just all around great players and people, I want to thank them all! 4. All very deserving, especially my guy Bollos de Trueno winning Dman of the year, he really deserved it and I was happy to see him get it. Nothing really surprised me, we have a great team and could literally give awards to everyone! 5. I think we have a good chance to defend even with losing some key players. Our GM's did a great job filling he holes in the off-season and keeping a great core on offense and defense and of course we have a top goalie. 6. I will have a huge party in Latvia with all my friends and family and bring the cup to my old rink I grew up playing in and skate it around the ice with my first coach Gulbis Galvins.

The Vancouver Wolves are your S96 Cup Champions! Hoisting the most coveted trophy in sports after an exciting 6 game series with Davos. Big respect to the Dynamo on a well-played series and great season. Vancouver was too good though, too deep and even when faced with adversity in game 5 they came together and got it done. I heard they are the only team to ever win 5 games in the finals, so this one was truly deserved! For years I've been confident in this group and our GM's that we could get this done and it feels absolutely fantastic to be writing this article as a Cup Champion with the Vancouver Wolves! The core of this team has been together a long time (Ninefingers, Martin, Gavilrovs, Slater, Trueno, PMB, Soju, Wheeler) some of them from the same draft years and they've all worked hard to get us here. Newcomers this season were also huge reasons we were able to lift the cup (Kisslinger, Thorvaldsson, Stefano, Syko) and we could not have done it without them! Just a great team that will go down in history together forever, I'm honored to have been a part of it. Gavilrovs played pretty well too, focusing on D but also added some clutch goals and 12 points in 17 games with 64 hits and some fights of course! Props to Riley Martin and Logan Ninefingers who led the way with 24 and 23 points in the playoffs and Olober Syko with 12 wins .913 SV% and 2.87 GAA. That said, everyone played well and did exactly what they needed to do to win this championship! Thanks!

1. Yes absolutely I knew we'd be in the finals because we are the best team and I've said it all season. 2. Everyone has come up clutch in their own right so it's hard to say, gotta be Martin or Ninefingers 3. I'll go with Soju because he carried us in net and played great his entire time as starter, he took a back seat in playoffs so deserves some props. 4. For the entire season has to be Riley Martin, he was on another level this year. 5. Bollos de Trueno always brings the energy! Great locker room guy 6. Probably one of the defense or pims awards but I had a down season from last yr 7. A little of both lol
