Thanks to everyone in Vancouver for many great seasons! Will miss you guys! Excited for the opportunity to play in NY! Let's GO!!
  2. 1. Bummer but 7 games we were close, a bounce oe two and we would have won it. I'm still shocked we lost tbh, we are def better than Seattle but that's why hockey is the best sport anyone can win. 2. Probably take steroids so I can injure more players on the other team. 3. I'll go with Toronto because seattle beat us and are jerks for it. 4. Gotta go with my home country of Riga against the moscow meanies. 5. What is this boost your talking about? Is that actually a thing? 6. No. Except that time Frank tried to trade me and I refused to waive and we went on to win the cup that season because he didn't trade me
  3. 1. Probably New York because Seattle is rainy. 2. I'll go with my home country of Latvia here just because. 3. No preference, confident against anyone 4. 12 because I always believe it us! 5. Not sure what the curse is so I will say a 7? 6. Happy birthday man, if you are young enjoy it, once your old it's not as exciting lol
  4. That's right! Those crazy sonsabitches did it! Five Vancouver Wolves players scored 100+ points! Its goddamn amazing, woo. Even more amazing is two of them were defenseman! Yes two defenseman on the same team scored 100+ points! I have no idea but that seems like some kind of record. Ok let's get into it. First with a whopping 107 points we have team captain and second-best looking player on the team Logan Ninefingers who led the way with an incredible 47 goals, 60 assists along with 231 hits and was an absolute beast all season to lead the charge for Vancouver. Next we have Bollos de Trueno a bearded beauty of a defenseman with a ridiculous 105 points consisting of 19 goals, a league leading 86 assists along with 190 hits and 149 blocks, all that and somehow finally won a fight! Just amazing! In the third spot we have the incredible Riley Martin who piled up 104 points, good for 40 goals, 66 assists and 200 hits! He also had 12 powerplay goals and was an animal every time he stepped on the ice this season! Now we have the young pup of the group Pierre Marc Bouchard who exploded for 101 points, with 35 of them on the powerplay! PMB did it all with 48 goals to lead the team, 53 assists and even threw 116 hits, absolute huge year for the kid! Now we have the best-looking player on the team 6'8" 250 pound Guntis Gavilrovs with a ludicrous 31 goals from defense along with 69 assists (69 ) good for an incredible 100 points! He also threw 291 bone crushing hits and led the entire league in powerplay goals with 16, had 140 blocks and even won 4 fights! At one point he was top 2 in league scoring! Just an incredible break out career season for Gavilrovs and we love him. I'd be remised to not mention our superstar goalie Soju who had a monster season with 45 wins, 2.24 GAA and a .928 SV% as he backstopped us to a 51-17-4 season good for the #1 seed. Just an awesome year for Vancouver as a team and on the scoresheet. Everyone played well, especially Matteo Stefano who had a career year as well with 31 goals, 50 assists, good for 81 points! He may get a bit overshadowed by the big stars on this team but he was a key player all year for the Wolves. Pretty special season for the Wolves as a whole and I don't know if that many 100 point players is a record but sure feels like it!
  5. 1. Yes I think we will all make it and update Yes we all made it! Even Guntis! 2. The Cup is always most important because it's a team accomplishment as well as a personal accomplishment. A player could have all the awards but if they don't win a cup their career was incomplete. 3. No but it is true that awards probably weigh more heavily into HOF voting, but I think Cups should def be factored into the decision, esp if won in the players prime as a top contributor. 4. Vancouver players should win every award because we are the best and while maybe not the best looking (Logan Ninefingers) we deserve all the accolades because we earned them. 5. I am absolutely thrilled with my players season, 31 goals 100 points from defense is goddamn amazing and I had 291 hits, led the league in powerplay goals and won 4 fights. Fuck yes. 6. I have no idea but either way I'm guessing Frank tries to trade me, lol 7. Oh look at that lol, unfortunately the reality is a couple of the big 5 would have to be moved, but I know the team can stay competitive. This season was truly special.
  6. Gavilrovs face! lol
  7. Possible Trade Deadline Deal..
  8. 1. I'm ok with it but Sunday feels better 2. No I think we should stick with what we have since we've been killing it all season 3. I'm not really expecting one way or the other but I will go with less trades this season overall 4. Not sure about it, will have to come up with some fictitious trade graphic 5. Hard to say, maybe people saw how good we are and gave up 6. At this point in my career no, but otherwise It'd be fine, I've been in one before
  9. Vancouver Wolves 6'8" 250 pound Defenseman Guntis Gavilrovs is absolutely obliterating the league right now, currently up to 2nd in league scoring and 1st amongst Dmen. 27 goals, 61 assists 88 points in 59 games from the blue line! Just ridiculous, he even had back-to-back 4 assist games recently to really vault him up the leader board. That alone is impressive enough, but he also leads the league in powerplay goals with 13 and has 237 bone crushing hits! Oh and he's still undefeated in fights at 4-0-2. Just all around an incredible season for the big Latvian blueliner. With 13 games left we'll see how he finishes but have to figure he will be in the running for multiple league awards. Would it be crazy to consider a defenseman for MVP? Who knows but Vancouver is having a fantastic season at 42-13-4 and if Gavilrovs can keep up this pace you'd think he'd be in the conversation. Big props to all his incredible teammates (you know who you are) who are also having huge seasons and career years! Many of them should be in the conversation as well. Vancouver players currently make up 4 of the top 8 scorers in the league, 5 of the top 12, they have the top two scoring D and the leading goalie! Just awesome. This has really been a fun season for the group in Vancouver and we're excited to see how they all finish up and do in the playoffs!
  10. In fights this season! Yes that's right league superstar scoring defenseman Guntis Gavilrovs has beaten down 4 opponents this season and has yet to lose any of his 6 fights. With 20 goals that leads all defenseman and 12 powerplay goals to lead the entire league, along with his 62 points and 186 hits Gavilrovs is proving to be not only one of the top few defenseman in the league in talent but also in toughness. He even beat up two Calgary Wranglers in the same game after they dared touch his teammate Pierre Marc Bouchard. A rare breed of elite offense and brutal physical defense Gavilrovs is having an absolutely huge season for the first place Vancouver Wolves. With a record of 34-8 winning 9 of their last 10 the Wolves are beginning to pull away from Calgary in the standings. We have to think after watching Vancouver beat up 3 of their players in a recent game it broke their spirit a bit. Gavilrovs and Vancouver are in full control right now having their way with the league, we are looking at a very special season for the Wolves and many of their players are having career years. It will be exciting to see how they play in the remaining 26 games and where Gavilrovs and others end up in points and peripherals. We could be seeing numerous Wolves in the conversation for Awards this year but one award is the most important and that's defending their cup!
  11. 1. I think it's usually Seattle, but they stink this year so it's more Calgary especially with the recent bench clearing brawl where we beat all their players up and I beat two guys up at once. 2. It changes game to game, there's usually a player Guntis hates on every team so hard to choose one. 3. Yes because we have been flip flopping with them for #1 most of the season in the standings, but they are generally a small and weak team who loses fights, so can't really rival us, but they've been winning games and won't go away 4. They try and jinx each other with voodoo dolls 5. I have no idea but hopefully is easy 6. Something easy something about the team 7. Fantastic, was a great time of hockey and awesome rivalry games.
