Good Tourney Team Europe!

Team Europe’s S70 World Junior Championship was one with many ups and downs. The team played well through the round robin finishing with a 4-2-2 record sitting only behind Canada. After Team World bested Team Asia in the quarterfinals the semis were set. A clash between two of the favourites being Europe vs. USA. The game was a defensive show by both teams. The US scored to take a one goal lead and that was the only goal scored until they sealed the win against Europe with an empty netter. This was a crushing defeat for Europe but they quickly turned their attention to Bronze medal game where they ended up facing off against Team World. Europe took care of business in the Bronze medal game by defeating Team World 4-2. Roque Davis put on an absolute clinic and contributed 4 assists in the process! GM Ricer13 is extremely proud of how well his team performed. Walking away with a Bronze medal in his first ever WJC is something he will never forget and looks forward to take another run at a championship sometime in the future. Thank you to those who host this wonderful tournament. I look forward to seeing these teams showdown again in S71! word count: 207

Yukon Rush Press Conference Week Ending on Feb 23 2020 1. There has been a lot of movement on the Rush roster this past week. We have seen the likes of Zyrok12, Jason Goesen, Gary Neal, Ray Sheilds and Mickey Dickson moved to other teams. Did the Rush get a fair return for these players? 2. Out of all of the players moved, who are you likely to miss playing with the most and why? 3. A lot of the players moved were waiver signings so they are all eligible for the upcoming draft. Who should the Rush look at drafting and bringing back to the team? 4. The Rush picked up Center Trey Nets in trade. How would you rate his performance in the short time he’s been with the team? 5. Bennet Dahl has been working hard on his game this season and has gotten the opportunity to play in the WJC. Team Asia was recently eliminated in the quarterfinals, how would you rate Dahls performance during the tournament? 6. Are you happy with the bots we have in our discord? Are there any other ones you’d like to see in the LR? And why?

It is better than 0 but it would be nice to find a way to promote these practice facility players to do a little more!

I see the pros and cons from both sides. I still think it should be on the portal and that maybe more things should be moved to portal in some form. What about creating a rule that only allows the use of the practice facility button if you have already earned 6 TPE that week. It would force players to do even the simpler point tasks in order to get the free 2 TPE from practice facility.
