  1. I messed up when I made my player connor strome as a goalie, so I retired him and made a new player. That player is already signed to Yukon Sorry for any confusion
  2. 1. I have really enjoyed talking with my teammates But I think I have built the best relationship with Krice. He was super helpful in introducing the VHL to me and still will help me if I have any questions. I've also had some great conversations with him. 2. I hope so. I do feel like its a bit to late of a push to give the Rush a chance at anything but hopefully they can build on it for next year. 3. If he already has 13 half way then it's not hard to picture him getting 7 more. 4. Who knows, if he keeps improving its hard to see anyone passing him, but that's not to say it's impossible. 5. I do see it as a possibility, the Rush don't have the best chance at winning the cup so it might be a good idea for them to trade S71 draftee's to contenders for picks since they aren't locked in for future seasons. 6. I would visit Sweden to see some hockey. It would be cool to see hockey played in another countries
  3. Shows Leadership through hard work Indepth Report Skating: Ray is a very strong skater in terms of speed. He is able to get by most defenseman by skating harder and faster. He still needs to work on his edges in order to get to the next level. Puck Skills: Ray can handle the puck very well, he makes smart plays sending the puck in deep, or keeping the puck away from defenseman pressuring him. Ray is also very good at deaking through players in tough situations. Shot: Ray has a Great shot. He is able to put the puck where he wants it with relative ease. His shot is his best attribute and you can count on him to keep improving it. Offensive Play: Ray is able to be hard in the corners getting pucks out and sending them to the front of the net. He uses smart plays to create scoring opportunities. Defensive Play: Ray’s defensive play is average. He does what he needs to to get the puck out of the zone by pressuring the offense and using smart positioning. Physical Play: Sheilds is not a very big player. He is good at checking when he decides to do so. However he shys away from many of the hit opportunities he gets. Competitiveness: Ray goes hard no matter what. He shows up to practice and gives all he’s got. He is able to consistently push himself to reach his goals, Hockey sense: Ray is able to read a play very well. He can anticipate where the puck is going and get on it. Size and Strength: Ray is a lot shorter than the average player only being 5 foot 7. He is however able to hold his ground against the big players. Explosiveness: As soon as he hits the ice Ray is going hard finding out where he needs to be. He is able to get going and skate by defenders. Season so far: Ray Sheilds has had a rough start to the season. He was picked up by the struggling Yukon Rush as they hoped he would become another asset to join the emerging player Zyrok. So far in the season he has only been able to put up an assist however his team gm’s ( Kris Rice, and Mexican Cow) have said they have seen big improvement. He is very active in talking to teammates and has even encouraged others to follow. He is expected to be a force to be reckoned with later in the season and is expected to finish near the top of his draft class.
  4. Ray Sheilds Junior Review Ray Sheilds Grew up in Vaxjo, Sweden where he cheered for his favorite VHL team the Malmo Night Hawks. He had always dreamed of playing for VHL however he struggled to keep up with the other Swedish Athletes as he could only make community Bantam 2 in Sweden. However after middle school he decided to take a High School program that would take him to Halifax, Canada. While In canada he was able to be trained by a man named Gord Downie who had played 3 Season in the CHL for the Edmonton Oil Kings. Gord pushed him day in and day out making sure that Ray stayed on top of his game. He also took Ray to see all the Halifax 21st Games as inspiration. When he started to play hockey he made Midget 1 community for a team called the Lunenburg Navy. He improved his game so well that he won multiple award like Esso minor hockey Week and Provincials he was so good that the AA team the Lunenburg Racers called him up for 5 games. He scored two hat tricks and 3 other goals in the games he played as a Racer. Ray continued to improve his hockey until when he turned 17 he was able to play AAA hockey for the New Germany Knights. On the Knights he was able to make the AAA all star team and won 5 different Individual Awards as well as being named Captain Teammates would say he was a ferocious competitor reminiscent of the NHL's Henrik Zetterberg. "He is fast and the best scorer I have ever seen" said his coach Gord Downie. He caught the VHLM's attention when he was able to put up 40 goals and 53 assists in 80 games. The following Year The VHLM had three teams contact him to offer contracts. After debating what team to pick he finally decided to go with the YUKON RUSH He currently Is improving his gameplay at a rapid rate on a struggling team and is expected to go in the first round of the VHLM draft. Despite losing all the games he has played in the VHLM Ray is hoping to make a difference for the rush this season. In a post-Game interview after losing to the Minnesota Storm he stated "It's always been my dream to Play in the VHL I'm not going to let a few losses affect my game".
  5. 1. It gives me a bit of hope, I still haven't seen a win with this team yet and I'd like to get a first. 2. He,s obviously talented and is improving consistently 3. No one stands out our team hasn't been doing very well. It defiantly feels like zyrok is carrying. 4. There all enemy's but I don't dislike a team more than another 5. I play hockey, and Ball hockey. I'm a all around hockey player 6. It's a tie for me obviously Marvel makes better movies, but DC has better TV shows like the flash and Arrow
  6. 1. I'm new to the team so I was a little surprised when I saw that 2 Based off just points I would have to say Zyrok12 3. I don't think there is much you can do and i'm not really the person to ask 4. I like it I've been able to get the information I needed. It did seem a bit dead today though 5. Hockey and I got to go with the Redwings 6. Alberta, Canada
  7. Thank i'm exited to be involved 1. I was watching a Tactix video and he mentioned VHL in it 2. This is my first sim league 3. It is still a bit early to make final conclusions but so far I've really enjoyed it. 4. I Don't really have anything definitive planned yet for my player. But so far I've leaned a bit more to playmaker 5. I use Connor Strome as my NHL20 be a pro player 6. I signed with Yukon Rush Because I would get to be a second line player
