My dream team out of only players I played with So since I’m still fairly new and didnt even play a single game in the VHL I decided to make my dream team only consisting out of players I played with(off-season events excluded). There were a lot of nice people and good players I’ve met in my career but these are the 6 ones I decided to go with. First since every good team needs good defenders I present my no.1 D James Teekirque @Mongoose87. Probably the player on the list I played the longest with, I’ve first met him after I got traded to Missisauga back in my time in the M and he was just a beast on both ends, one season later other team but still teammates now in Oslo. He wasn’t quite dominant but for a rookie still impressive. The day I write this he still playes in Oslo. After Teekirque my have our C Bryn Yrwy @dylanjj37. When I came to the league and quickly joined the #BOATGANG he was our star player and he was just dominating. He also was pretty active in the locker room which definitely made the time better. After the season he retired. Now for the goaltender oft he team we have Boris Tsezar @comrade cat. He also was one oft he people I met in Halifax and he was our well deserved #1 Goaltender. He didn’t play on a level with the other people on the list but he was still good. The thing that probably convinced me to put him onto here was his activity in the locker room. Now he plays in rome putting up good numbers. Next up is he LW stud Vasile Lamb @dlamb. Like Teekirque I met him after I got traded tot he hounds and he sure was a great player. 2nd best player in points back in season 81 and top goal scorer with it. He also was a quite active person in the locker room, he later got draftet first overall to start season 82. At the present day he plays for New York and is pretty solid in it. To finish of the defense I have Marcel Janser @Morcar80. He also was a player I met in Missisauga and he was a rock solid d-man. Even though he wan’t crazy good he was consistently playing fine and being decently active in the locker room. Something I really appreciated about his player ist hat his build wasn’t meta but pretty defensive. He is currently playing for Vasteras in a fine way. Last but not least I have my left winger in Jacob Richard @Jacob Richard. He also was on the season 80 Halifax team alongside Yrwy and just like him he was an absolute beast. They were a really good team together with Jorgen von Strangle that was putting up huge numbers. He wasn’t really active in the locker room like the others. He is currently playing in geneva. So that is my dream team of players I played with, there are also a lot other great choices but I had to decide and these were my choices.

53: This was a very interesting game between Stockholm and Vasteras. Despite Stockholm outshooting Vasteras 48-29 the Iron Eagles won 3-1 which is an incredible performance by the whole team but one that clearly stood out was goaltender Bubbles Utonium who saved 47 shots while letting only one in and definitely the earned first star of the game. After that we have defender Cameron Elsby with an incredible 3 point night and a big part of that W and foward Christopher Young with an 2 point night. I think the three starts are already pretty accurate and don't really need to be changed. Also one quick shoutout to James Glove Dropper for scoring Stockholms only goal. 56: Another really interesting game between Rome and Bratislava. The shots were pretty close in this game the gladiators outshooting the watchmen 47-40. On the goal side of things it also was decently close with rome winning 4-2. The MVP for me is gladiator Deke Rike with one goal and two assists for three points and two players with 2 points each. But I think two people that didnt get enough credit by the bot are the goalies Boris Tsezar and Orion D H Chiester IX with two incredible performances and I think that'd be worth a place in the 3 starsand my personal 3 stars would be: 1: Deke Rike (ROM) 2: Boris Tsezar (ROM) 3: Orion D H Chiester IX (BRA)

What is the most important league for retention? I think everybody knows that retention is a big topic in the Community, and I asked myself: What is the most important league for retention? Since there are three leagues, we should look on the role they all take. First the VHL, the big league. I think the main goal of every new person is that your player will be a Superstar in the VHL and with that the role of it is to give a long-term goal and motivation with that to stay and grow your player which definitely is a huge factor. Then we have the VHLE, the middle league. In my opinion the VHLE has an underrated role in retention since it prepares you for the VHL and it’s the time you may get a smaller role as an AGM in one of the 3 main leagues or GM in one of the off-season events like the World Junior Championship or the Junior Showcase. At last there is the VHLM, the beginner league. Possibly the most important to keep players here short time since it takes the role of introducing people to everything and answer the important basic questions. Also, in the time you are in the M there are the drafts and for the lucky ones a big motivation and for the unlucky ones maybe a reason to try and proof the wrong and with that also a possible motivation, although most probably get demotivated from that and a possible reason to quit. So, after I’ve talked a bit about all three leagues and what I would say their role in retention I come back to my initial question and I want to split this question in long- and short-term retention, because I have a different ranking for both. First the short-term ranking For me the first place of this part of the ranking is the VHLM. I think the M has the biggest role by far in short-term because this is the place where you get to know the whole thing on a basic level and here it is where people decide the first time if they stay or go. On the second place I have the VHL which may surprise some of you, but the decision wasn’t really a difficult one. In my opinion the VHL plays a decently big role in retention because it gives you a motivation to stay and learn more about the league and how everything works. Lastly on the third place I have the VHLE. In my opinion the E doesn’t really have a big role in the short-term retention because at the point you enter the E I wouldn’t really count you in the short-term retention anymore and it isn’t really something many look up to. Then the long-term ranking First in the long-term ranking I have the VHLE. In my opinion the E is the place where you really get to understand the joy and most get the confidence to do more than just being a part as a player and get the motivation to do more and help others and spread the joy and this is the point where people decide subconscious to stay for a long time. In second place I have the VHL because it is the league where you stay the longest and the place where you fight for the big awards and achievements and this could really give you a long term motivation to stay. Last but not least we have the VHLM. In my opinion the M plays the smallest role in long-term retention because you don’t really spend a lot of time here and you don’t really think about the whole thing so much and you don’t really mind so much. For my final conclusion I believe the VHLE has the biggest role in retention because it is the place where you kinda decide the first time how much you want to engage in the league. After that I have the VHL and VHLM tied because they both play a huge role in retention but in their own way. anyways what is your opinion on this topic?
