Yesterday, Juan Ceson fired his long time agent, @Arce. This deeply upset his friend who had worked so hard for Juan’s best interests, helped him sign with his team this season and also started to be an agent for CBBE. However, what RC did not know, is that RC is actually getting promoted and not “fired”. RC is no longer going to just be manager of the Juan Ceson Complex, the group of LVA facilities in Las Vegas where Mandalay Bay once stood. Instead, RC will now be promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the Juan Ceson Co. and will have many more duties than simply running the hotel and being Juan’s agent. RC will now be responsible for things like building Billy bookcases for people who buy them from Juan’s furniture store Ikea and also for arresting people who break the laws Juan makes in Sweden. The chief duty of the COO, however, will be as security for Juan’s new magical forest which has already been destroyed once. RC will prevent people like Las Vegas management from entering the forest and will also be looking after Juan’s dragon sanctuary which has been relocated there and helping raise the baby dragons that Juan has taken into his care. Hopefully, RC will be happy with this promotion.

1. Slater, team members like to use my players last name as a nickname. Not so generic would be 'lives later' mocking my players first and last name! 
2. Nah currently not too worried, we still have some games ahead of us and the tides could turn.
3. I haven't been paying attention to the other leagues since I'm relatively new to the VHL and am getting used to how everything works.
4. Figuring out TPE tasks! But I'm starting to get the hang of it now.
5. I watched one game so far but am not currently invested in it. 
6. A mix of all three. If a bunch of new shows come out to the streaming services I have I'll have a binge stream session for so many days. Once I run out of shows/in-between seasons of shows I'll navigate towards cable and YouTube. Then I'll yoyo between the two until more interesting things are released on to the streaming apps I have.

In Houston we have been awarding the player of the day with a Flaming Bull Award.  I have created one for every player on our team and it is posted in the locker room to get everyone pumped up and to highlight their stats for the day.  As waivers were picked up, I made sure to make new ones for the new players as well.  Something simple but fun!

Showcased here are the Captain and the Assistant Captains.

Juan would like it known that he has started his own player management agency and will be advising future players who may hire him as their agent to sign with Houston and their wonderful AGM Triller.

Negotiations can be hard.  Some players want more than others and sometimes those demands can get a little weighty.  This off-season, Houston, among other teams, were in talks with a well know VHLM player.  After @AJW and I chatted with this players Agent it was concluded that a Mandalay Bay and a statue of this player would need to be constructed in Houston.  As the AGM of Houston I jumped right into talks with the city about a commercial zoning permit and a location for the Mandalay Bay to be constructed.  I also reached out to a very prominent, local sculptor to get started on the statue.  Before talks had concluded, a show of good faith was sent to show our commitment.  A piece of the gold statue that had been already sculpted.  Who could say no when all their demands had been agreed to and were already in progress...
 
It seems, in the end, that this player was going to go elsewhere to play with a friend.  One could assume that this plan was long in place and that negotiations were futile from the beginning, but that would be speculation.  With a sculpt already being worked on we had to pivot.  In the end, something magnificent was created and was placed on the front steps of the Houston Arena.

A couple of days ago, the VHLM season started and the Houston Bulls needed a leadership group. Houston's GM, @AJW, and his AGM, @Triller, decided to name the captain and his assitants by themselves. They chose to name Bobby Bob to lead the team to the promise land and to wear the "C" on his jersey. To help him, Legacy Gaming @Gaming Ringleader and Liv Slater @Subject056 are both going to wear the "A" on their jersey. The team had a really slow start and the team management made a quick change and released their starting goalie to sign a new one right away. A new forward, Jeremia Barbalsov @Je Barbaslov, also joined the team and he is supposed to play his first two games tomorrow. The Houston Bulls have a lot of active players and is now set and ready to win the cup. I wanted to congratulate the three players that will wear a letter on their jersey and to wish them the best of luck for this season.

1. With the help of my GM and AGM for the Houston Bulls my players performance is looking good so far. I wasn't sure what to expect but knew my player would do well with the help I've gotten. 
2. I think our team is on our way to improving now that we've picked up a new goalie. 
3. Mexico City Kings are currently undefeated. We'll see where the season takes us and them!
4. Always tended to lean towards #56 so will have to go with that. 
5. I enjoy doing these Press Conference questions so far for TPE. I haven't dug too much in to other TPs yet so that may change as I check out more stuff. 
6. Alt Rock. Never gets old.

We are back for a second episode of the series: « The Bobs legacy, the sequel ». In this episode, we will talk about the beginning of the Bulls and Bobby’s first beginning of the season in the VHLM. The Houston Bulls had an amazing draft a couple of days ago and now they are set to go, and nothing will stop them from winning the Cup this season.  
 
For the first simulation of the regular season, the Bulls were playing against the Mississauga Hounds and the Philadelphia Reapers. The first game against Mississauga was going to be a difficult one. Indeed, the Hounds are a really good team and the game ended in overtime with the first goal in the regular season of antonio marchand@Tapirman and the first assist of the season of Bobby Bob. The Bulls won the 3-2 and Bobby finished the game with one assist and a differential of +1. The game against the Reapers also was supposed to be a close game and it was the case. This time opponents of the Bulls won the game 6-4 and Bob had an assist again but finished –3. 
 
After the first two games, the Houston Bulls went on to lose the next four games against the San Diego Marlins (3-2), the Miami Marauders (2-1), the Mexico City Kings (3-2) and the Las Vegas Aces (5-4 OT). In all those games, not only Houston lost only by one goal, but they also completely outshouted the other teams. The team management was really not happy about the performances of the goalie and after only six games into the regular season the GM @AJW and his AGM @Triller, released their goalie Maius Wagner to sign a younger and better one. The new goalie, Gage Barclay @Waffleboard39, was going to be in the net for the next two games. 
 
With only one win in their first six games of the season, the Bulls made some changes and now, with a new goalie and new lines, they are ready to start winning and they did just that. Indeed, Houston won the next game 4-3 in overtime against the Halifax 21st and Barclay saved 27 of the 30 shots he faced. Bobby had his fifth assists of the season and finished the game with a +0. The second game of the “new era” also finished in overtime, but this time the Mexico City Kings won the game 6-5. The changes are continuing to work, because the Bulls won their next two games 2-1 and 7-4 against the Lynx and the Reapers respectively. 
 
For its part, Bobby Bob, just like the team in general, had a really slow start of the season. Indeed, Bob only has one goal and six assists for a total of seven points in ten games and a differential of –1. Even if the team does not have the best beginning of the season, just like AJ, the GM of the team, said: “last season in the VHLE Oslo was at the bottom of the standings to start the season and then they won the cup”. So, everything is possible, and we just need to keep up with the good work. 

The three players chosen to represent the Houston Bulls this season have made a positive impact to the team already early in S87. They are active voices in the locker room and also on the score sheet each game. Congratulations! Myself and @Triller are proud to announce the S87 Houston Bulls Captains!

1. This is my first season with the VHL. I'm looking forward to learning the ropes and seeing what the VHL is all about!
2. Checking out the new graphics from other users is always a good time. I'm new to the forums so I'm still checking what is out there.
3. I haven't had a chance to take part in a simmed league yet as I just joined a couple of days ago. Currently don't have a favourite yet either but I'm sure I will once I start to get in to this!
4. I do, I'm looking forward to experiencing the VHLE after the VHLM.
5.  I wouldn't mind sticking with the same draft teams but I'm also open to moving around to other teams and getting to know other players I as continue my VHL journey. 
6. I enjoy Blokus! It isn't too time consuming and strategies change depending on your opponents moves. 

1.  It looks promising.  We look to have lots of players on the team who are high in TPA so that's good.
 
2.  Follow the GMs instructions and communicate with the players.  Let us know where we can get TPE!
 
3.  I want to score goals but also be good at stopping others from getting scoring chances.
 
4.  I think we will make the playoffs and get second overall during the regular season.  Gotta have a rival team for fun.
 
5.  I recently watched a movie with Christian Slater in it and thought that Slater would sound cool if an announcer said it.
 
6.  I prefer a city because of the accessibility to everything.  I enjoy the crowds.  I grew up in a city so I am used to it.
