How does it feel to be back with the team? Diego: Thank you! It's an incredible feeling to be back with the Saskatoon Wild. I've missed the camaraderie, the energy, and the excitement that comes with being part of this team. The fans here are fantastic, and I can't wait to hit the ice again. Interviewer: That's fantastic to hear, Diego! The fans have certainly missed you as well. What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming season? Diego: There's so much to look forward to! First and foremost, I'm excited to compete alongside my teammates again. We've built strong bonds over the year, and I know we can achieve great things together. I'm also eager to see how our coaching staff has prepared us for the challenges ahead. We've been training hard during the offseason, and I believe we have what it takes to make a serious impact this year. Interviewer: Excellent! It sounds like the team is focused and ready to make their mark. Can you share any specific goals you've set for yourself this season? Diego: Absolutely! Individually, my primary goal is to elevate my game and contribute more offensively. I've been working on my shot accuracy and speed, aiming to improve my scoring total from last season. But beyond personal achievements, my main focus is on helping the team succeed. Whether it's providing assists, playing strong defense, or being a leader in the locker room, I want to make a positive impact and contribute to our overall success. Interviewer: That's a great mindset, Diego. Now, let's talk about the team's chemistry. How important is it for everyone to be on the same page? Diego: Team chemistry is everything. It's the glue that holds us together on and off the ice. When we trust and support each other, we perform at our best. We've been fortunate to have a strong core group of players, and the addition of some talented newcomers has only added to our potential.
