Mexico City, Mexico.

As we approach the VHLM Finals, the match-up is between two powerhouse teams. Both teams had dominating performances both in the regular season and in playoffs. Houston Bulls are stacked with talent both up front, on defense, and in goaltending. They are projected to have the highest players in the upcoming VHL Draft. They are no surprise to be in the Finals, and are the likely favorites after being the league leader in points in the regular season.

Mexico City has had an incredible run in the regular season, and were one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs. In Playoffs, they continued their red hot run. They swept their first two series against the Las Vegas Aces and Minnesota Storm, both of which are solid teams in their own respect. Mexico City is a high-flying, high-scoring team with a willingness to score every single night. This is what attracted Hard Markinson to the Kings; but it looks as if the match has been made in Mexico's favour. In signing Markinson, they knew they had a blue-chip prospect who could skate, however Markinson is proving to be a steady reliable defendor who has added some serious grit to the team. He has played his way onto the second defensive pairing, and is the top defenseman in hits on the team with 20 hits in the 8 playoff games. He hasn't been spectacular offensively, only registering 3 shots on goal, one of those being a goal (not a big deal). Coaches have said they are encouraging him to shoot more, but with the offensive talent on the team, it's not surprising why he is dishing it off so much.

The Finals begin early this week, and many fans are excited. The Kings are very happy and excited for their chances against the top-ranked Bulls team. While it was a quick journey for both teams to get to the finals, there's no doubt going to be more of battle now that they are here. This series could easily go seven games.
