offseason wonder for Jaxx Hextall

This offseason has to be worrying for long time Toronto Legion fans, more so those who enjoy seeing Jaxx Hextall in a Legion uniform. The fans are definitely use to the rumors though at this point. Ever since Killinger and Magnum were traded out and the team had to start another rebuild, supposedly Hextall was meant to be apart of that trade but wouldn't waive his no move movement clause. We've seen Hextall remain faithful to the Legion organization but as he approaches the start of the end in the VHL, one has to wonder if he'd be willing to waive his NTC to go to a contender. That's not to say Toronto is completely out of it, the team has a very bright future and looks to be a champion team in the near future but it's unlikely to be next season. We reached out to Hextall for any words on this. "I really can't say anything for sure yet, me and Peace are still talking and we're both waiting for playoffs to end and to get to the draft, I think around the draft we'll know for sure what's happening."

Let's take a quick look to see where Hextall places in the Legion's goalie history books so far, incase he does end up leaving during the off season. He sits third all time in games played only behind Aidan Shaw (452) and Remy LeBeau (511). If he play's enough games he can pass Shaw. He sits fifth all time in wins with 176, Alex Gegeny (194), Torstein Ironside (218), Remy LeBeau (255), and Aidan Shaw (315). If Hextall stays he can easily pass Gegeny and has an outside chance at Ironside but that's unlikely. Hitting 200 wins would be big though as he would be only the fourth goalie to do so. A record that may not be the most sought but one that Hextall holds is overtime looses, with 42 he passed LeBeau to take first in that list. Finally in shutouts he sits eighth, he's unlikely to pass anyone here as Alexander Labattle is 8 shutouts ahead of Jaxx's 20. Well see if Hextall continues to move up on these lists or if this is where it ends for him.
