Seabass 593
The Seabasstard has formally bid farewell to the Wild as he cleaned out his locker over the weekend and said goodbye to other team mates and staff. As he was packing up his stuff a couple of journalists caught him to ask him some questions. Hey Seabasstard, how did you like playing for the Wild? "Well when I joined the wild, they were quite on the outside of the playoffs race, being quite a few points out of a playoff spot. I didn't really have much when it came to expectations, I came over to have a chance to work with GM @Doomsdayand to hopefully be able to make a impact and make a good first impression for myself in the VHLM. We ended up making a pretty good push for the last playoff spot out of the few games I was here for and I'm pretty proud of the improvements our team made near the end of the season and got to make a few new friends during my stay. Overall I had a good experience playing for the Wild." Would you be open to rejoining the Wild if they manage to select you at the VHLM Dispersal Draft? "I would definitely consider coming back to play with the Wild. I had fun here but the VHLM is a business and you don't pick where you end up in the VHLM draft so I don't want to disappoint myself by getting my hopes up to get selected by the Wild. This was a good group of guys but the odds are really slim for us all the reunite next year due to VHL graduations. It would also be real difficult to draft all of the late year additions we picked up this year after the VHL trade deadline like myself. In the end it doesn't really matter, I'll be happy where ever I go. " Did you have any parting words for the guys? "Well we all met quickly last night for a game of poker and a few beers. I had the chance to wrap up most of my farewells there and then but I'll take the time right now to wish all the guys the best of luck in the upcoming VHL Draft and the VHLM Dispersal Draft for the youngyuns like myself who aren't eligible for the VHL just yet. Were all taking important steps in our careers and I hope we all find success. I had a blast during my short stay here and I'm glad to have had the chance to meet everyone here." The Seabasstard had an impressive showing during his stay in Saskatoon amassing 10 points (2 goals and 8 assists) in his first 14 appearances in the VHLM. The small centerman showed that he could play efficiently at both ends of the ice and was relied on by his coaches to take many key faceoffs. His play down the stretch will for sure elevate his draft ranking and The Seabasstard himself expects to go early at the next VHLM dispersal draft. Rhynex Entertainment 487
Good article/interview! Easy to rad with good use of sentence structure, bold and italics. Good use of in body tag, a bit on the short side, but an overall well though out interview. Good job! Keep up the good work and best of luck at the draft! 9.5/10 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/100276-the-seabasstard-bids-farewell-to-the-wild/#findComment-829525 Share on other sites
