My Random VHL Thoughts - S76 - Part 7

• These thoughts won't be that random this week given everything that's gone in in the VHL over the past week.
• First off, want to say thank you again to @Beavissfor all his work he did as a member of the Blue Team and head of recruitment. We didn't always see eye to eye (just in the fact that I didn't agree with all of his suggestions) but the league is 100% a better place because of all the work he put in. Blue Team burnout is real - it's very rare that a member leaves the Blue Team and doesn't take some sort of extended break afterwards. Hopefully the step back to "just" VHL GM will be enough for Beav, but I don't think anyone would blame him if he wanted to take a couple seasons off.
• VHL GM openings galore! After going seasons without any changes in VHL management, multiple spots opened up this off season. Most noticeable of them (to me at least) is @Victorstepping down from Moscow. Moscow is where my last player, Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen, went from being a top VHL defensemen to "arguably the best defenseman of his generation." We also won a Continental Cup there (and I think he won another one as well?) so good job and enjoy your true retirement now old man.
