Imagine if a VHL GM benched his 600 tpe defensemen for a few games in favor of a retired 200 tpe career vhlmer because of his veteran heavyness block shots ness. Well guess what, the reason why a player accumulates so many blocked shots and hits is because that means his team never has the puck. This is in reference to Flyers coach AV purposely healthy scratching Shayne Gostisbhere for 3 games in a row in exchange for AHL defensemen 35 year old Nate Prosser. Prosser directly led to 3 goals against last game because he kept coughing up the puck and treating it like a grenade in the defensive zone. This relates to VHL because a good defensemen isn't just about hitting and defense - he needs to be able to get the puck the F out of his zone and drive play the other way or he is worthless. Good day
