Will Glass Re-Up With Warsaw?

 

In the midst of a cup run and the midst of the VHL playoffs, a lot of reporters are instead deciding to focus on Lexi Glass's pending free agent status rather than what is going on on the ice during these playoffs and it will take a lot for it to not become a distraction for Glass and the rest of the team. Through 4 playoff games so far against Prague, Glass has been largely missing from the stat sheet, tallying just 2 points so far, both in the game 4 win against Prague that saw her tally both a goal and an assist.

 

When asked by a local reporter after the game, Glass had a fiery response:

 

"I don't know why you guys keep f***ing asking me these questions, I keep saying the same damn things and you guys don't understand apparently. There have been many times I have stated I am happy in Warsaw and just want to play hockey, I am not worried about money or contracts right now, I want a cup. We can talk about this after but look we just went up 3-1 in the series so can we actually talk about the game. I scored a goal and got an assist today, want to hear more about that or how great my other teammates have been? How about Krishna's shutout? I know we are sort of required to meet with the media but really guys, enough is enough. Go Warsaw."

 

This has definitely been a controversial question but so far Glass has not shown any desire to leave so it is definitely curious why people are asking about this in the middle of Warsaw's playoff series. One thing is for sure, coming in with the league's best record and the Victory Cup, Warsaw has a huge target on their backs and they need all the focus to be on the ice against Prague and any future opponents as they chase for the cup!

Review: Good amount of content for a article post, like that this brings up the frustration one can have with the media and their stupid questions at the worst times, the player is going to focus on their game and the series, the contract talks can wait for the offseason. good pacing and good quote from Glass, the quote really does feel like someone venting their annoyance from the media. Good update to the series and production of the player to. 9/10
