The Miami Marauders may be in the middle of their Founder’s Cup series against the Mississauga Hounds, but defenseman Jan Hlozek still managed to find the team to issue a swift response to Druss Deathwalker @animal74, the Malmo Nighthawks rookie forward who has made headlines over recent days over his so-called hit list.

The Malmo rookie first named Hlozek to his hit list, which contains all the individuals drafted ahead of him, in late March. Hlozek subsequently issued a response during an interview with journalists one week ago, prompting a reply from Deathwalker who said “My 317 hits (7th in the league) should scare you. Cuz I’m saving some for you next season.”

“I don’t have time to respond to this angry Scottish guy right now. I’m busy playing in a cup final, in which we lead 2-0. Deathwalker must be bored during the offseason or something, as I don’t see the Nighthawks playing right about now,” Hlozek said after Wednesday’s Founder’s Cup Final game.

Deathwalker also appeared to take a shot at Hlozek’s performance in the VHLM, noting that the Czech blueliner did not appear in any of the Top 10 statistics categories in S77.

“That will have to wait. I’m busy winning playoff games, and I’ll soon have a trophy in my hands. Maybe I’ll send you a signed photo seeing as you love me so much,” Hlozek said in a message directed to Deathwalker.

Hlozek also pledged to give more detailed comments following the conclusion of his postseason campaign.
