The VFF Report I: Our First Champion

MALMO, SWEDEN - Well, the wait wasn't all that long after all. Diehard fans of fist fighting on ice only had to go through three games without anyone dropping the gloves before Randy Marsh of the Malmo Nighthawks finally gave Dakota Lamb a taste of what the Victory Fighting Federation is all about. Seconds after setting up a Kirishima Wakaro goal, the heavyweight invited the Warsaw Predators captain to dance and showed the fans in the stands why the Federation commissionner tabbed him as one of four favourites to take the belt at some point during this season. It's still early to say for sure, but it'll be interesting to see if anyone can take the title from our inaugural champion. He's been one of the league's best fighter since he first took a stride in a VHL rink seven seasons ago. When asked about the fight after the game, Marsh eloquently yelled: "This one is mine all year." Big words from the big man.
