Seabass 593
Word is out that The Seabasstard was involved in a two car, head on collision saturday afternoon. The rumour on social media is that he may also have to miss some time on ice due to injuries sustained in the wreck and that alcohol may have been involved. The Seabasstard showed up to practice the next morning looking a little rough and sporting twin black eyes. He got straight to point and made a statement first thing this morning before practice in order to put some of the rumours to rest right away. "First off I'd like to say that I got lucky somewhat and came out of my wreck with only a few minor injuries like whiplash and a broken nose. The good news is that I shouldn't miss any games and I should be ready to rock and roll for our next game. That being said, I'm pretty disappointed and angry and how fast people out there came to their own conclusion of alcohol being involved before getting any of the facts. Alcohol was definitely not involved in my wreck and I'm pretty pissed off that my integrity has been put into question. This is defamation of my character and it's unacceptable. " With a statement directly stating defamation of character, it's seems pretty likely that The Seabasstard may even be thinking of getting lawyers involved. While Seabasstard wasn't willing to expand on his original statement he was willing to give some details on his wreck. "I got in a head on collision going through an intersection on the highway. The other vehicle attempted to make a left turn in front of me as I was crossing the intersection causing the wreck. The driver was an elderly man and wasn't able to tell the fire chief the correct current date which tends to make me think he had dementia or something. He seemed to think it was November when it was in fact the month of May. " The Seabasstard also confirmed that he did in fact wreck the old truck he bought that was recently featured in a previous VHL.com article back in April where the truck had caused him to be reprimanded by the Wild for being late to practice and showing up in a mud covered suit. "Yeah I was pretty upset that I wrecked that truck. I had recently put a lot hours of work and parts into it to restore it somewhat only to crash it. I didn't really get to enjoy some of the new parts I put in and I'm sure I won't get as much from the insurance as what I thought the truck was worth to me. She was a good truck and treated me well. I was coming back from a good fishing trip with it when I wrecked her. It was nice to be able to take her out on what ended up being her final ride. " The Seabasstard participated in practice but looked visibly stiff and rough on the ice and ultimately the coach gave him the latter half of the practice off to go get some more rest. His teammates were quick to poke fun of his twin shiners and were heard calling him 'Crash' throughout the day as it seems like The Seabasstard has created himself a new nickname. *I got inspired for this media spot by a recent event that happened to me in real life. I actually did own this old truck for 5 yrs and wrecked it. I did get some injuries like whiplash, a broken nose and a mild concussion. But I probably would've just had whiplash if I was wearing my seatbelt so kids don't be like me, fucking wear it, it takes 2 seconds. * Edited May 31, 2021 by Seabass Spartan and N0HBDY 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/104178-menace-player-crashes-truck/ Share on other sites
