hockey talk episode 2

hey guys, It's me again, matt, with a new episode of hockey talk, this new format that I kinda invented? I mean it is a hockey show, it isn't that new, but hey, stil, I came up that name all alone so it is kinda new? Well I hope so, but let's not talk about it, we have an episode to film, so  get ready, as it is about to begin.

 

*Intro of Hockey talk starts*

Host: Welcome back fans to a new episode of Hockey talk, the only tv show that gives you the best interviews with the best players of the VHL!

*crowd screams*

Host: Today we will be again togheter with a player that already had been on the show, one of the best phisical defender of the league, Matt thunder!

*matt thunder enters the stage and the crowd screams again*

Host: Welcome matt, please take a seat.

 

Matt: Thank you again, really happy to be here, thank you also for inviting me, it is always a pleasure to be here  on this cool stage with some really good fans and hockey enjoyers.

 

Host. No problem matt, I invited you because the fan loves you more than me, maybe I should change job.

But let's not talk about how I'm not the fan favourite, let's talk about your team, the Riga Reign, for sure it wasn't the season that you guys expected and you lost the opportunity to get into the wild card for really nothing, so as you are the captain of the team, how do you feel and how does the team feels?

 

Matt: that's really an easy answer for me, In the last 15 or 10 games we really started to play the best hockey of our lifes and we really thought that at the end of the season we would have ended in that position, but sadly that didn't happen and after the defeat against Davos, there weren't really a lot of words to say, we were all sad or furious.

So yeah we just feel pain, pain and pain, but we are sure that next season we will be getting that spot really easily, because the team is there and if we continue to train and play like that better things will happen in the future.

 

Host: Well that is understandable i would feel the same too, luckly I ended up as a tv host and not as an hockey player.

Now I have an other question for you, what are you going to do this offseason? are you going back to your homeland, France or are you going to train at Riga, at your home or maybe you have some hidden plans that you never told anyone and you are going to say right now?

 

Matt: I'm not going to lie, I don't have any hidden plans, but yes I'm going to do the first two things that you said, I'm going back to france to say hi to my mom and dad till the end of the vhl playoffs, than I will come back to RIga, as I love that city and I will start to train, then I will also say hi to the new rookies that have been drafted and I think that's all, my life isn't that exciting as you can see, kinda boring, like your life ahahaha.

 

Host: hey my life isn't that boring, well it is, but let's not say that outloud please if my ex wife hears it she will make fun of me again, for the second time this week.

But let's go back to your interview, here the tricky question, would you change team to a more competitive one?

 

Matt: Well it isn't that tricky, the answer is only one, No, I wouldn't, and do you want to know why? Because I Just love RIga, the team and the city helped me a lot during hard times and I really own them something so I will never leave them, they own my heart, and I'm really proud to be the captain of this team, full of great and talented players and also full of history, they really made a big part of VHL history let's not lie.

 

Host: well that's true, but VHL isn't only Riga.

Matt: Yes, you can bet I did, I really love coming here, the fans are amazing and yeah we can say that you are a decent host.

Well that was all for this week, I really hope that you like it and you didn't find it boring, because as you might know, that is my biggest fear, oh and I was also forgetting one thing, I really hope that you also like this format, It isn't that new but I really love writing and think about some jokes  that I could put in it, just to put a smile on your face, it isn't much but it is an honest work.

I really hope that you readers will also have a good end of the weekend and also a good start of the week, I say both things as I am writing it Sunday, so I'm writing it between the end of the weekend and the start of the new week.

9/10, Love the interviewer style, cool read and super well written, one thing to maybe improve on is the layout. Make it more visually appealing add titles and colors, pictures work too.  Maybe for the interviewer you could change the font, or use italics, make it look cleaner imo. But overall solid read and great job.

I love the idea behind this media spot. The whole talk show thing is a amazing idea!! I would try maybe bolding names (interviewer, Matt etc) to just help separate it a little. I'd love to see maybe some sort of logo made for this if it's going to be a running series. That will also help to split it up a little because it's an image instead of just text. Overall great job 9.5/10
