Gooningitup 1,290 Posted July 29, 2014 Share Posted July 29, 2014 A few weeks ago if you had asked the rookie defender if he was going to be a captian in his rookie season. He would tell you your crazy. Just a few weeks earlier he was an unkown name a guy that people would have doubted made any kind of impact in the VHL. Fast forward now 10 games into the season Komarov has been a shinning star on the back end. Among the league leader in hits, shots blocked, an PIMs, well amassing 10 points. Now named captian Komarov is leading well by example on an off the ice. Hes rather quiet in the media due to his need of a translator. One thing is clear though despite not being very vocal its clear hes become a leader for the young squad. His work on the ice has insipred his team to currently be tied for first in the european confrence.
