JardyB10 4,865 Posted July 5, 2021 Share Posted July 5, 2021 REGINA (PP) - It's been a long off-season for the Miami Marauders, who were eliminated from the S78 VHLM Playoffs perhaps halfway through the season. When the regular season came to a close, the Marauders went through the usual VHLM roster shakedown, and Peepants returned to his home in Regina, SK. "Again, please call me Paul. Anyway, my manager had been calling me at least once a week during the season. It sounds like the store has been really short-staffed, so I was happy to finally go home and pick up some shifts," Peepants said. "It's been a nice change-up. I wasn't able to win anything playing ice hockey this year, but I think if I work hard I might be able to finally be named Employee of the Month." While he resumed his job at the local Independent Grocer, he has also continued training. VHL scouts are astounded at the progress the bagboy has been making since agent Jardy Bunclewirth declared the lanky defenceman for the draft. He is anticipated to be on Canada's top two lines of the upcoming World Junior Championship, and with the inaugural VHLE season still being another year away, many experts think he might be ready to make his VHL rookie debut. Bunclewirth himself is not in this particular camp. "The kid is f*cking garbage. No better than the plastic bags he stuffs my 30 bags of mini carrots into," Jardy said, sitting before a pile of cocaine. "He had a decent season in the VHLM I'll grant you, but I think he could use one more to really show everyone what the f*ck is up. He needs a little more time to show everyone that I'M F*CKING BACK BABY, WOOOOO!" If the off-season lasts any longer however, Peepants may not have a choice.
