Tyler 885
Trumbauer is quickly becoming a nuisance in the sides of opposing teams in his last VHL season. It took a long time, but veteran defneseman Mattis Trumbauer is finally getting the proper credit he deserves. Trumbauer, who announced this will be his final VHL year before it had even begun, is leading the VHL in blocked shots, and is doing so by a healthy margin. He has 46 blocked shots, the second place player is star Niklas Valiq who has 36. With Calgary fighting hard for a playoff birth, one has to wonder how important those blocked shots are to the team's playoff battle. "It's just my job to play defense, and it really is just something I pride myself on. The ability to block a shot, to put your body on the line for the boys is something I will never not take joy in doing," said the German defenseman. diamond_ace 3,112
Is it wrong to mention the fact that his most successful year is also the year he's not on Vasteras?
