Some unstructured thoughts

        Okay. This begins my most hectic media spot to date. I am completely barren of ideas, and I don’t exactly have oodles of time to churn this out. So what I’m gonna do is write a paragraph about whatever comes to mind, then rinse and repeat. We’ll see how this goes.

 

             Hmmm thinking, when I think of the VHL I think of the VHLE. GMs were recently announced, all great choices, mixes of VHLM GMs and Frosty (lol), and will basically be a stepping stone to becoming a GM in the big league. Of course, with no official GM experience, my resume was dwarfed by some of the other applicants, which frankly I’m completely fine with, because of the sudden gaping hole in VHLM GMs. So overall, it worked out for me. I take that back, it *could* work out for me. Onto the next topic.

 

        Right now I’m listening to High Road by Fort Minor and John Legend, and although I don’t normally enjoy Mr Legend’s music, I love Fort Minor and I love this song. My favourite line is when Fort Minor is finishing up his verse and says ‘keep talking while I’m walking away’ and Legend comes in flawlessly, adding ‘bitch’ to make it awesome. I highly recommend it. Anyway, while we’re off the topic of the VHL for a moment, the reason I’m writing a media spot at midnight on Sunday night is because I have had a pretty hectic week. My family and I left for a 5 day vacation to Mont Tremblant in Quebec until this Friday, and the 7 hour drive which I mostly spent watching my current Netflix show, Money Heist (which is a Spanish show, so I watch it on dub, which means English voice actors are talking over the Spanish actors. My grandpa and I had a massive argument about whether dub is better than subtitles, but that’s a story for another time). Point being, I was in no mood to get back in front of a screen. Until now. (Also Tremblant was pretty great, thanks for asking. The zipline was the best part).

 

         Anyway, I should get back to writing about the VHL so this gets converted into TPE for me to *bank*. Which brings me to my next topic. Depreciation. Fuck depreciation. I’m currently at 829 TPE, but only 767 TPA because I’m petrified about my upcoming depreciation, so I have 62 banked TPE right now, soon to be more. I have nothing against the concept of depreciation, since it enhances the reality of being a professional hockey player. It’s just somewhat pissy-offy that I work so (kinda) hard for this TPE that I can’t spend. I mean, I could spend it and it wouldn’t make much a difference, but I like Linus’s build, he gets points, and the Reign are winning. The plan is to cash a little in once playoffs come around, because this may be our only year due to Driver’s impending retirement, so I’ll put in some extra work before Linus starts to get old. 

 

           I’m officially well over 500 words, but I’m going to keep going because I’m not normally in a writing mood and half my content is sorta not VHL related, so imma keep plugging. Final topic is gonna be….hmm. I’m writing whatever comes into mind right now and I don’t plan on proofreading it, so give me a moment. Oh yeah. How about how hard it is to make graphics? I made my first few using photopea.com, and I genuinely cannot understand how the best (STZ, Z, Frank, Rockstar, Ricer, just to name a few) do what they do. All I did was grab a cutout of Rasmus Dahlin, throw it into photopea, add a neat abstract background, add some filters, and throw some text in and play with fonts and shit. Took about an hour and a half in total, and it still looks terrible and amateuristic. I just found out about pixlr.com, so I’m gonna try that out next week, but I have little hope. I’ve never been a talented artist, I’ve always opted to write instead throughout elementary school, so it definitely doesn’t come easily to me. The plan is, this week before I leave for Halifax to see my cousins for a week next Monday, is to take a day to grind youtube tutorials on these sites and to hopefully gain a decent understanding of the basics.

 

       That brings this article to an end. I ended up writing more than I thought I would, and it didn’t turn out half bad. For the updater updating this’ sake, the official word count is 779. 

 

   Also my birthday is on Tuesday, officially turning 14 (although I’ve been telling people I’m 14 since like March).

Review: lying about your age is a serious offence here in the VHL in fact your now officially on most wanted list that I just made up! Anyways good article. The tpe discussed I agree it sucks but it also keeps it more realistic but all your hard work goes to fighting it off. Good article buddy 8/10

review: waht a good read, I like this idea of writing what ever it comes to yuor mind, it really changes from people talking about his player over and over again, so it really changes and I like it.

there is also something in how you write that interest me and really catch me.

In the end this gets a solid 9 out of a 10, good joob buddy, keep it up!
