The Stars and Phoenix are set to face off in game 7 of the first real round of the playoffs. After splitting the first 2 sim days, taking the series to two all, the Stars gained the advantage in Chicago, before falling in Hollywood. Standout players from Los Angeles have been John Merrick, proving himself as dominate as he was during the regular season. His 15 points leads playoffs by a large margin, with a tie at 11 being the next nearest in the series, between Pistil Stamen and Julian Nousiainen.

Some storylines to watch in the lone game 7: Pending free agent Jeffrenomitsu The 3rd has 0 goals on 25 shots. Look for them to break their slump and score a big goal.

Stars rookie Henri le Massif, meanwhile, has been performing amazing with his 4 goals. If he can stay out of penalty trouble, le Massif is adjusting to playoff hockey well - he won the founders cup with Mexico City in S76.
