Malmo lose game 5, lead series 3-2

It was a tough game 5 loss to take for Malmo with the cup just an arms reach away. A 4-2 loss saw Telker trying to get things going for Nighthawks with a goal and an assist, but the offensive well had nothing left for game 5 at least. Malmo’s offensive depth has seen a hit in numbers during the post season, but Odinsson, Telker, and Sosa have been the main source for points. Mourning has had a great post season with 10 points in 18 games. Sova has lead the backend in scoring with 12 points in 18 games, with Kaberle right behind him at 11 points. The defence are especially busy working to keep the high octane offensives of the post season at bay. Malmo will hope to finish things up in game 6, and not risk the bears taking it to 7 in a game 6 win scenario.
