Ottawa Playoff Preview

     Ottawa looks fantastic so far these playoffs, going up 2-0 against Vegas in their first playoff series this year. And I would love to take a moment and take a look at this team and give you their Playoff Preview! Without further ado, lets get this show on the road and take a look at this stellar team. 

 

     So before we can determine how far this team could potentially go, we have to take a look at their core players and how they've performed so far in the regular season. Austin Towbaker @Domino has put up some monster numbers this season going over a goal per game, which is absolutely stunning. With 75 goals and 67 assists he's put up a total of 142 points this season literally 101 more points than he had last season. Towbaker is a solid option to tip in goals by the back door, and he can play the defensive game well enough to limit his team to only 12 losses total this season. Finn Davis @M1nT has put up an insane amount of assists this season, 119 to be exact, and a respectable 35 goals for a total of 154 points this season. Davis is an excellent playmaker at center and makes gorgeous cross crease passes to Austin Towbaker often for some of the most stellar goals the league has ever seen. 

 

     And on defense we have my favorite defensemen, Juice Box @Siddhus with a total of 61 goals and 83 assists this season he has been ON FIRE, putting up numbers that rival the top scorers in even the big leagues, Juice has been known in Ottawa for also laying people out on the ice with his massive 6'8 presence, and at 250 pounds he's absolutely not a pushover. He nearly doubled the amount of shots he's attempted this season as well, with 187 in season 79 and now in season 80 361. Another key part of this Lynx defense is the one, the only, the sensational, The Red Menace himself (@Me lol) and boy has this goalie been arguably the best in the league this season, selected first overall by Ottawa he was a chance that they took and it's absolutely paid off, Menace has won a total of 54 games in his sophomore season, with a record of 54-10-2 he's been one of the most prolific goaltenders the league has seen in a long time. 

 

     Ottawa looks poised to shut all the Yukon fans up with their deep talent, and expert coaching. One thing is for certain, this team will not be easy to knock off, especially since the VSN predicted them to sweep the Aces in the first round, and being up 2-0 looks like a solid indicator that they could. I predict Ottawa tp win the cup in convincing fashion this season, and I look forward to seeing who they end up playing in the second round. I give this team +500 odds to go all the way.
