   Will as he prefers to be called, has developed into a quality hockey player. It took hard work and brilliant coaching to produce the player he is today. GMs in both the VHL and the VHLE have been following this exciting prospect.

 

Player History 

 

  Will would be selected to play for the Brigade in the Junior Showcase. He would struggle to produce points. Yet during this difficult period, Will made a friend that changed everything. He met 16z, a coach who saw untapped potential in Will. With the 39th selection of the the S80 VHLM draft, this bond would be set in stone. Will was apart of history, he just didn't know it yet. He would struggle to produce points for 16z's team, the Ottawa Lynx. Yet with guidance and consistent hard work, Will finally broke out, producing 33 points by seasons end. Yet it was in the playoffs that everyone began to notice Will. His 13 playoff points would help the Ottawa Lynx win the Founder's Cup. This would lead to him being selected for Team World in the World Juniors, where he is today.

 

Player Profile

  Will is the type of player that any coach looking to generate offense desires. He excels in every offense skill. Passing, scoring, puck handling, and skating are all staples of his game. Additionally he is shown quality in his defense and his penalty shot. However there are drawbacks to Will's style of play. While he does play defense well, he will not be mistaken for a defensive player. He is not strong and he not going to check a lot of people. He also can be a tad undisciplined, producing penalties at bad times. And still has a tendency to struggle to produce points some night.

In Conclusion

    Will has the offensive skills to be amazing VHL player. Indeed, multiple VHL and VHLE teams have contacted Will for each leagues' respective drafts. This player has been compared to the likes of Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. With the right coach and more hard work, I have no doubt that Will shall become as legendary as those players have become. Based on the most recent projections, I expect Will to be drafted in the late 1st/early 2nd round(s).
