goaltender ed nu throws the puck up ice and wipes the final seconds off the marauders pp unit

Another game, another solid performance from Nu of the Ottawa Lynx as he stops all but one of Miami's shots!

He joined the team last season and fit perfectly into a backup role and whenever he had a chance to flash the leather he did, making it an even easier choice for GM Chikeen Nugett to select the youngster to be their starter. Now after plenty of practice, getting used to the American-style game, he can finally take a little break and relax going into future games knowing his team clinched the playoffs not long ago but if he decides to keep improving his numbers expect to see him get some more stars of the game as the season concludes.

Playing a huge part to his success, the defense core in front of him blocked shots and did all they could early on to help their netminder, now it's the other away around as teams get better offensively and shoot even more, now earns props from every line, shift after shift. Fans have even started to chant NUUUU whenever he makes a huge save but at home it sounds like he's getting booed, after a laugh and realization he zeroes in and soaks up ever last cheer from the audience.

Nu was born in Russia and recently touched base with his team scouts in London and Instabul, although he may not be the best speaker, the knowledge of the game and want to be a star should help drive this rookie all the way up to the VHL, hopefully having a successful start with the United. Next season is only going to make his resume stronger we assume as he returns to Europe to play closer to his family playing for the team that drafted him, the Red Wolves, oh and some banked TPE to unload whenever reaching his new destination should help solidify his pressence in the league. Not many know who he is either so expect some surprised coaches when he keeps up with all the creative talents in the E, using a correct build and upgrades every week.

Looking at his next step it seems like it may be even more tricky with all the different strategies already set.. We are due for some new sets from the competition, as long as he stays consistent, even if it's just a .900 game and continues to work on his rebounding, the Lynx definitely made the right choice again on their goaltender.
