Last day of days off before I head back to a 10 day stretch. Did some ice fishing yesterday, all my appointments during these 4 days off, the Oilers finally won and got the VHL draft later tonight to cap things off. Overall, things have been very busy in life but also good. Likely helps, too, that bonus season is only a couple of weeks away. Anyway, let's get to some league stuff. Got to get it all done, you know?

 

• Vancouver won the cup. Don't take this as dissing them or anything. It is what it is but I'm not a fan of exploiting something so much that it's almost a shoe in win. To me that's not skill. Either way, they seen it and grabbed the Wolves by the horns or something like that. The issue is going to be solved but not in time before we can make some more dark history. See in on the Discovery channel.
• The draft is tonight and I'm fairly excited for it. We did a bunch of scouting early on in the season and then have been watching as things go along. We have our eyes on quite a few players, as the draft is pretty damn good. Always a fun time of season for most of the community - has a festive vibe - so I'm sure it will be good. 
• @GustavMattias traded for the old purple leader and we knew he'd be a good add to the team. Good person all around and his player is very good too. I think he's going to have a great season with the Bears. Pretty damn excited to see what him and @youloser1337 can get done!
