Going into the 6th game of the S81 VHLM Finals the Ottawa Lynx had a 3 to 2 series lead and were ready to finish off the series in that series. The Lynx start off strong in the first period as they score the first 3 goals with the first from Gunnarwolfe Vomacka only 1:44 into the game. Not long after, about 8 minutes into the game on the powerplay the Lynx strike again this time with Perry Laperriere. It takes less then 4 minutes till their thirst for goals kicks back in as a goal from Chicken Nugget secures a strong 3-0 lead 10 minutes into the game. The Las Vegas Aces don't back down as a goal from Alex TheGreat with only 8 seconds left in the period as the Aces were outshot by the lynx 18 to 10 in the first period. The lynx strock hard in the second period as they once again go on a scoring streak as they scored two in a row, both on the powerplay with the first coming from Jason Lajeunesse about 5 minutes inno the period and about a minute later a second goal comes out from Gunnarwolfe Vomacka. Once again just like the previous period the Aces are outshot but they do score a goal with again a buzzer beater with 9 seconds left. The Aces try to comeback but fall in attempt to take the series to game 7 as the celebration starts for the Lynx. Nothing happened in the third period as the Lynx had locked down and secured the championship. Ottawa locked out the three stars of the night as the first went to Chicken Nugget who had 2 points including a goal and an assist. The second star went to Max torq who gave out three assists in a great showing by him and the third and final star went to Gunnarwolfe Vomacka for his amazing 2 goal performance which helped the team get the W. The Ottawa goalie Ed Nu had a .933 save percentage in the 5 to 2 win.

Review time: This is an alright recap of the final game of S81, there's just no much pizazz in it. You could have split in up into three sections for each period or at least split it in half to make it easier to read a follow. A picture could have been added at the top to set tone or at the bottom for the team that won. Could have gone into a little more detail in general and made use of bold or italics. Also scoring with 9 seconds left is not a buzzer beater, if it was 0.9 seconds left than it would be one for example. Overall 4/10
