Girts continues his elite play

The road to the VHL is a long and arduous one for many players.  Ups and downs come and go as players navigate their way from the VHLM to the E, and then on to the big leagues.  Very few dominate consistently in each league usually having a learning curve as they reach another league and closer to their dream.  No so for Bratislava forward Girts Galvins.  

 

Girts has hit each league a step above all others and competes relentlessly.  Girts led his VHLM Las Vegas Aces 43 goals 48 assists 91 points.  He continued this success in the playoffs and hasn’t taken his foot off the gas in the E.

 

A high pick in the VHL to the Preds (17) and 12th overall In the E.  However, I feel as Girts improves those teams that past on him will shake their heads in shame.  Since joining the E he has continued to dominate.  In 4 games he has 3 goals and 3 assists all of which came on the power play.  

 

His offensive play is only a small part of his game too.  He’s a true leader in the locker room, amazing at graphics, and is a TPE earning beast.  The ceiling is high for the young forward and teams in the E and the VHL better look out.
