"With a depleted roster and a bunch of new names to choose from it was hard to select a definite leader for us starting out, after seeing how we played in the first handful of games I've decided to do it a little differently again this season.. Our captains this season will be.."

 

Home Assistant 1

"He's been here the longest and the home crowd will ride his wave as long as he keeps making splashes."

 

Home Assistant 2

Defender // Deron Nesbitt @AW13

"Legit doesn't even flinch when trying to block shots, will put it all on the ice for us during home games so that's going to be huge!"

 

Away Assistant 1

Winger // Benjamin Franklin Chang aka BFC @joelunk

"Some of our trainers are already calling him Mr. Skill because of his nifty moves in the paint and complete knowledge of the game, should be a great leader during away games to remind us to work hard."

 

Away Assistant 2

Goaltender // Shaun Young  @shaun1979

"Probably one of our more vocal leaders and for a good reason since our team has been giving up a lot of chances but during away games we will need him to be even louder and continue to make great saves to help keep the bench motivated."

After 42 games the Ottawa Lynx have named their captain. Before the team had 4 asisstants and 3 will remain but now..

 

@shaun1979 will now have the C on his chest!
