NSG 498
Well, after this first week of regular season action, Henry Tucker, in his even more regressed form, is still doing well. After 12 games, he has 10 goals and 12 assists for a solid 22 points, the former ranks T-5th in the league and the latter is tied for 8th. He also has only 24 PIMs, and a pretty good 41 hits. He’s completed that with 2 game-winners (including a deciding shootout goal) and 3 power play goals as he ages somewhat gracefully. However, more importantly, Vancouver is doing well AND he has broken 2 franchise records. That’s right, Henry Tucker is the now the all time Vancouver Wolves leader in hits, with 1,258 of them, and penalty minutes, as he’s been 724 minutes in the box contemplating his actions on the ice. Additionally, he continues to inch up the leaderboard in these categories, let’s take a look! 372 Games (10th), 168 Goals (4th), 220 Assists (10th), 388 Points (7th), 1863 Shots (4th), 24 Game Winners (T-6th) The chase for the goals and points records continue, though. Can Tucker remain viable this year and next as regression continues to hit him hard? Time will tell, that is for sure. Stay tuned to find out how our boy Henry is doing next week! 211 words Shindigs and diacope 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/116155-tucker-breaks-records/ Share on other sites
Gustav 6,418
I'm surprised the team record is that low tbh. Not that you haven't played well, of course, but there are players with over 2000 hits for their career. Idk Hopefully I'll get to 2K though Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/116155-tucker-breaks-records/#findComment-909269 Share on other sites

It's still an accomplishment--and good luck hitting 2K! With the way you've been hitting the past few seasons it's not impossible. Or maybe he comes back for the sole purpose of contemplating hard? Such things take time (especially after several concussions) Shindigs 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/116155-tucker-breaks-records/#findComment-909368 Share on other sites

Garsh 1,191
Assuming you count Quebec as Van, which it was just a team moving so I assume most would, I think Niklas Valiq has like 1400 something hits. He's too old to be in the portal stats though. I remember looking this up when I was comparing Griff to other D men in the franchise history. can be found on the vhl complete stats sheet under skater stats season by season. Sadly spreadsheet hasn't been updated in a minute. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/116155-tucker-breaks-records/#findComment-909391 Share on other sites
