The third time is not the charm

Well fuck, I really thought the third time would be the charm and the Moscow Menace would finally be able to beat the Vancouver Wolves in the Continental Cup finals. Not only did we get our asses beat for a third year in a year but we got swept this time which makes it sting that much more. 

 

Still I don't want to take away from the fact that we actually made the finals three years in a row, that by itself is not a easy feat and I feel grateful and lucky to be able to do that with the team that drafted me back in S78. It's been great playing with mostly the same core my whole career but the facts are there will most likely be some changes to that core this offseason due to cap constraints and considering everyone is getting older. It seems like our window has closed and Moscow has the future core to look forward to. Still this has been the best team I've ever been a part of and it's been a pleasure to play with everyone here. Cheers whatever happens this offseason happens.
