Rhynex Entertainment 485
AirRig GoodBrandSun had a respectable, yet disappointing stint in the development minor league VHLM. Known for being the big stay-at-home defensive defenseman who would chip in offensively when given the chance and be a big net front presence on the power play. Some even say AirRig GoodBrandSun fits well as "the Big Pylon Defender", an immovable big butt in front of the opposing net. As a member of the VHLM Las Vegas Aces (S81) and VHLM Houston Bulls (S82), AirRig GoodBrandSun had experienced back to back VHLM Championship Finals and also back to back tragic and tear jerking losses. AirRig GoodBrandSun however did win the attention of @Shindigs and was selected to play for Team Canada in the World Junior Championships in S82, where AirRig GoodBrandSun played a soundless tournament, playing as a defensive anchor which saw 0 points in 8 round robin games, before scoring a big elimination match goal to help Team Canada bring home the Gold in S82. Follow bringing home the Gold, AirRig GoodBrandSun garnered lots of interest in the S83 VHL entry draft with multiple projections for AirRig GoodBrandSun to be drafted in the top 5 of the S83 VHL draft and was even projected as high as #3 by one mock draft. AirRig GoodBrandSun received many pre-draft workout invitations and had earned a lot of interest from Calgary Wranglers GM @Ricer13, who eventually traded up to #5 to draft AirRig GoodBrandSun with the 5th Overall Selection in the S83 VHL entry draft. Joining a young and forwards heavy Calgary Wranglers team, AirRig GoodBrandSun received a quick call up to start the season with the Big Club in S83. A quick VHL call up, skipping the opportunity to develop in the European league of the VHLE. AirRig GoodBrandSun has a lot of expectations to perform well as the defensive anchor for the Calgary Wranglers. As the Wranglers' top defensive prospect and top defenseman, expectations are through the roof. While GM @Ricer13 held expectations to a minimum, AirRig GoodBrandSun believed that he would flourish in Season 83 in the VHL, where he'll be given all the ice time a rookie defender could care for. While most rookie defenders would want and need time to adjust, make mistakes, and develop. There is no time to waste for AirRig GoodBrandSun as he's thrown right into the wolves den to play top line minutes in all situations of the game! Fans expectations could be said to be rather lenient as nobody could expect a rookie defensive defenseman to put up many points, if any for the matter. But AirRig GoodBrandSun had given himself an expectation to put up a show for the VHL and the Wranglers fans. We will leave it to the audience to say whether AirRig GoodBrandSun is meeting, or perhaps even exceeding regular expectations as a rookie defender on a young and growing Calgary Wranglers team. Perhaps expectation is for winning the Rookie of the Year and a VHL cup finals appearance to match his current pedigree of making it to 2 championship finals in 2 season played.
