BOG Leakz

In keeping with most .coms named something like this I won't actually leak anything. Consider it more of a "first impressions" type thing.

 

So getting invited to the BOG I thought would feel more...terrifying, I guess? Honestly so far the majority of it has been me discussing stuff I was already discussing, with people I was already discussing it with. So really not much of a change. With that out of the way I'll just go back to talking about non-BOG related stuff to make sure the title actually is egregious click bait.

 

JST Stuff!

So AJ picked me to be his AGM. It's nice to be back in GM-chat over there after a season as "only" a scout. We ended up with the Warriors and have had some pretty good discussions in mgmt. Sadly being in Sweden I was asleep for most of the draft and couldn't be there to help welcome the draftees as they joined. But hopefully I get to meet some new members that I haven't crossed paths with so far, while I'm in there. With that being said AJ went for a pretty Vegas heavy draft, so a lot of the team are people I'm quite familiar with. But since I also have scout access from being Vegas GM I can kind of move about LRs as I please to help with getting the info I need for the upcoming VHLM draft. As well as just having a good time chatting with new people.

 

Vegas Stuff!
Well, to the surprise of just about no one we swept the Reapers. I decided to get in two backup games so Cory @Spaceium gets some nice playoff experience in there. Ended up with both our goalies sitting at .94x SV%. So that worked out nicely. It's also been nice to see that our 3rd line has really gotten involved in the playoffs. Since Philly could no longer double shift it did mean they were playing bots 100% of the time, but still it's very nice to let the spotlight shine on those guys a bit more. Because our 3rd line is quite good. They just happen to be slightly stuck behind players who already have chemistry from the run we went on in the regular season. That being said William @Futch, our 3rd line center,  is also getting a fair bit of Special teams ice time. As him being a Faceoff specialist has served both our 2nd PP and 2nd PK unit very well both in the regular season (where he was our 2nd most efficient PP producer) and in the Playoffs where he's also right up there.

idk after my run with Clue Glue™ I'm running low on click bait titles that I haven't used yet. But maybe I should start adding a red arrow pointing to something completely random and a surprised face to all my point tasks. Just to be safe!
