ROOKIE745 604
Jonathan Ori probably isn't the name most people are thinking of in terms of free agency, he still has one year left on his contact after all, but it's a mutual option. Helsinki has five players signed at least into next year currently and the same number that still don't have a contract. The Titans could make some big changes if they really wanted to, all five players listed as UFA are pretty big names and would require a hefty salary. Nasherov would be the cheapest as he's only got one year left that he can play in the VHL before he must retire from the league and you have to be wary of a production drop off. He was a point per game last season so he should still be able to give a team around 50-60 points I would imagine, maybe he surprises everyone and does better for his final go. Back to Ori though we were able to have a chat with him over a phone call, he's currently back in Canada spending time with friends. He told us that he's mulling over what feels best for him, he's loved it in Helsinki and believes the team has great seasons ahead of them but thinks his future might be elsewhere. Ori had his second best year points wise, with 83 and reached 20 goals for a third time in his career. Ori is entering his last three years in the league and the wear and tare starts to take effect at this point. If he was to move he didn't give any specific teams he was looking to join, just that he'd wanna hear what each team is offering.
