                                                 Playoffs showing Komarov off

Komarov has slowly been making his name be known around the VHL. He is still not a house hold name like O'Malley, Richardson, Cote but these playoffs hes out played all of them. Currently he sits with 13 points in 9 games which for a defensive defender is impressive, however is his stat line as a whole is great with 45 hits, 18 shots blocked, a plus 3 and 34 PIMs. This puts him among the top in all major categories minus the plus minus, all this in fewer games than many of those above him. Is this enough to finally get noticed? Maybe put himself in the discussion to be a first round pick.

Komarov has been a leader all season long on a losing team he kept hope up until help arrived. He shouldered the burden of every loss, well celebrating every game like it might be his last. He may not be the most talented player to enter this draft, however you would be hard pressed to find a player who has a bigger heart and passion on and off the ice in this draft. The Storm have had an up and down year but Komarov never quit on his teammates. He knew if they pulled together that they could accomplish anything. He wasn't wrong they now sit 4 wins away from the cup a strong team effort across the board brought them this far.

They face a team heavily favored in the Lynx but its nothing new for the Storm who were the underdogs every series. They have grown to love the tag of underdogs relish in the opportunity to become cup winners despite all odds against them. If the team can keep together and play a team game they have all playoffs long, then they might hold a chance of winning this series.

Komarov will continue to lead the team and we know if he can keep the team playing the way they have already. Then they can turn some heads and maybe do what experts are calling a miracle on ice and win the whole thing. Komarovs wants his teammates to know no matter what the results are that he is happy to have lead this team this year and looks forward to hopefully returning next year to try to either capture another cup, or to try to redeem themselves and win the cup

Nice article. Probably wasn't the best choice in titles though, hahaha! Komarov might not be as big of a name as O'Malley or Richardso, but I have a feeling he's going to prove himself and surpass those losers.
