Welcome to the VHL, Tetricide! We're happy to have you. You should have received a PM with some more detailed information, but to get started quickly you will want to head over to the "How to Create a Player" topic. That topic will offer you detailed information about how to use the VHL Portal to create your player and get you started. We also highly recommend joining the VHL Discord where there is a channel dedicated to helping new members with any questions that they may have about the league or improving their player.

 

Once your player is made VHLM General Managers will be in touch with you about joining their teams. In the meantime, please feel free to ask any questions you have here or in your create-a-player thread. We're happy to have you in the community and we hope you stick around!

Hello, everyone! I'm brand new to this, but a friend told me this is like D&D hockey. I like both D&D and hockey, so I'm excited to create a player out of thin air with an interesting background and see where he goes.

Which D&D shows/podcasts do you like to watch/listen to? (Yeah, I’m bold enough to assume that it’s a “which you do” and not an “if you do” )

I don't really watch or listen to any, but I have seen a few snippets of Critical Role sessions. I have recently been playing in a Pathfinder (1e) campaign though and we're on the 16th session tonight. One of the PCs died last campaign and it was wack.

That’s dope. I’ve never played Pathfinder, but it seems pretty swell. I believe @Shindigs is a PF guy though, probably among others.

Never played PF, only played 5e. But I also watched a bunch of modded 2e campaigns on Twitch back in the day. Mainly played Shadowrun 1e and 3e myself though. Shindigs was the name of my OG character in 1e actually.
